@@PunkySlush That’s the wrong way to think about it. Firstly, you’d need to think of the player base as a whole, not just the members of individual games. Even still (as I’m pretty sure there are more survivor players than killer) if you focus on one group the game will inevitably suffer. If the game becomes practically impossible for any non-pro killer to win, then no ones gonna play killer. Similarly, if the game becomes extremely hard for non-godly survivors to win, people will stop playing survivor. The numbers will suffer either way (no one wants to wait forever and a day to find a game, especially because at this point they’re waiting a long time to get what will most likely end up being an average game) and the game will die off. Keeping both roles balanced and fun is important to longevity. Keeping both sides even is the biggest benefit for both sides in the long run.

In Dark Souls any failure is 100% on the player, it is possible mechanically to avoid everything there. It is impossible to do in multiplayer games, especially with such bad balance as DBD.

@@SwordWieldingDuck I'm gonna have to disagree with that statement, plenty of bugs can mess you up and then it's out of your control. I've been killed by smough during the cutscene after killing ornstein, I've had casters float up unto unreachable platforms in DS3, I've seen the game give me random staggers like the ones you get when you use a light weapon on a shield. Besides, if getting 35 in a row is possible, surely 50 is too with some more luck

Otz is trying and I massively respect his skill and it's something that I could never do but he shouldn't push too hard just because people believe in him and want him to keep trying. He knows his limits, all I know is that I trust him to take care of himself and that I'll keep watching his progress.

Salty Dwarf your statement is correct for most hits BUT the game isn’t perfect and bugs do happen. DS2 has a lot of bugs and Hob got hit by a lot of them (like Ancient Dragon doing damage without an animation). Not to mention once every blue moon the spawn of an enemy will be slightly different and you can agro enemies you really shouldn’t have agro. In short there is a reason why people can’t “no hit run” the souls games with 100% consistency. At some point you realize it’s an RNGfest cause the games weren’t design with no hit runs in mind

@@Kryichi I dunno, every time I run it, regardless of killer, map, etc. someone always spawns on my undying. So that's gone 20 seconds into the game, without fail. Consequently ruin's kinda useless as that's gone in a minute and a half on average. Then I'm a 2 perk killer for the rest of the game. Don't know if this happens to anyone else or if I'm just extremely unlucky. I think I'll rely on my [nerfed] pop from now on.

I agree with you. I've only had the game for almost 4months and besides nurse (in my opinion) deathslinger is my hardest to be great at. But when i play against a gunslinger main they always dominate

@@chadmurphy4345 give him Save The Best for Last and he can truly dominate. I'm not the greatest with him but I find that this perk works really well on him.

@@dasefora123 Deathslinger. The shorter gun wipe animation allows you to get a one-two down quickly if you can nail the second shot. However, it is helpful in general.

@@Rorderick Not all survivors love it, some hate it, I main killer and play survivor on the side and I can say that I hate haddonfield on both sides, however it is my favorite map to practice flying pig on.

I just experienced that, you end up feeling good after the 4k and say a few more games and then the good mood dies quickly and stress levels go up.

I highly doubt Save the best for last is any effective on oni. His power doesn't involve basic attacks, and to be effective you pretty much rely on your power, not on AAs. An optimal oni gameplay is basically: get your first instance of blood fury (this can be troublesome, may need perks to help in that) -> snowball. After your first power, from the injuries generated by the constant instadowns you should get enough blood orbs, so you will rarely have to use AAs anymore. If you rely on AAing with oni, you are going to get brutally outplayed real fast if going against competitive survs. That is for PC though, have no experience on mobile, but I think there must be many more poweful choices than STBFL for a non-AA relient killer...

Stbfl on Oni is a big NO and works terrible with him, monitor and abuse is what I main on my Oni, sneaking up or even getting closer than normal to get that hit of blood helps to gain his power much easier

@@Zeus-sv6wi ik that but on mobile survivors have their heart indicator when the killer is near. so even when they don't play with sound they can still know when ur coming since oni with monitor is 24m still. The reason why i run STBFL on him is because personally i think its really effective on those SWF who do body block under hooks n those trying to do flashy saves. yes i did aware that ppl will think I'm mad for this idea but for 1 good reason. His power don't count the effect of the Perks meaning if u already have like 8 stacks, when u down/ hit the obsession with his power those 8 stacks remains there. so eventually u can always be a machine gun while able to down the obsession without the worry of losing stacks.

But since the control for Oni on mobile is not ez compared to any other platform. its not that ez to down all 4 at once( the most flick you can do is 90 only, no 180). also the reason for why I'm talking STBFL , i also mentioned it in the reply of the other person beneath you. cheers man
