Nigeria is for everybody regardless of tribes or religion we all settle in a plc that Favors us,am a hausa person who was born and raised in Delta State and so as my parents in anambra, we all love and respect each other there.❤ Again Nigeria is for everybody ❤❤❤
Every northern state you go to there are large communities of igbos ans yourubas that have been living there for decades but they never talk about this in the news and unfortunately those that haven't been to the north aside from abuja, have no idea. We need more of this type of journalism in spreading light to misconceptions especially avout the north
Why? Is Nigeria not supposed to be one country? Every Ibo city has Hausa Quarters ( Ama Awusa) where Northern people live and thrive and are never targets of religious and ethnic riots. Aba even manages to have Mosque Road, Uthman Dan Fodio Road etc. for over hundred years. And the first elected Mayor of Enugu was a Fulani man Alhaji Umaru Altine etc. Some people have chosen to deploy violence as a political tool but this business of living in other ethnic domains cut both ways.
The Hausa people are one of the most peaceful people in Africa. I am an Igbo man and I have so much love for the Hausa. We all know the main trouble makers in Nigeria and I hope that there will be peace in the entire country.
Sorry, Hausas are like tools and slaves to the Fulanis. They do the Fulani bidding. I would not advise any Igbo man to even live in Kano talk less of buying a property there. The host does not like you. They surely just can't without you.... check history...
That you and who are one? The problem with this kind of magical thinking is that it leaves no room for a realistic engagement of the national question in Nigeria. If you are one, then why are Ibos pointedly excluded from central power and their region denied meaningful investment e.g. in the railway sector which is even extended to Niger republic with foreign loans? Please go and rest.
Thanks for this video. I grew up in Kano with my family. I loved that city so much but after the crisis of 1990 we had to leave. The story of my life will not be complete without mentioning that city. How I wish Nigerians will do away with ethnic bigotry and live together peacefully!

We are one Nigeria, beautiful and rich in our diversity. We can coexist in peace and harmony. It is the politicians that seek to divide us for their selfish interests and ambitions. Please let us live together in peace.
No discrimination we know that crisis is still alive but this video is good to encourage people to come. Riots have been the order of the day. But I will encourage my people to also invest in their home and not hope that another man’s home can be there home in the future. To be honest I like this video but we Igbos are welcome worldwide. Don’t forget end sars in Kano but I will be coming to Kano to see for myself and give my honest review with a video. Thank you very much.
I was born in Kano, came back again in 60s, finally left for marriage, we enjoyed staying naturally Housas are loving, accommodative, that is the reason you hear the language easily, my assessment is that they are the best tribe in Nigeria, it is polities that turned everything upsidedown, People don't know we have, Hausa and Fulani, I mean the Hausa, are good
Thank you for this video daily trust, you need to be doing more of these, its a worthy initiative, this is what true journalism is all about, spreading light to misconceptions. Please visit other state's like Katsina to really show those in the south that their people have been with us for decades peacefully, that they dont know or hear about in the news. Also please visit the few southern states were some northerners are and lets also hear their experiences if they match.
That's unfortunate situation and should never happen again, because ignorance and sentiment make us do such thing, on behalf of people of Kano we sorry. Much love and stay safe ❤❤❤
@@cathlandemmanuel831 I don’t see why any Igbo should still live in Kano after all the cold blooded kpaing of Igbos there which started before independence.
I was in born in Kano. It wasn’t a fun memory. The many riots, the killing of ibos for reasons of jealousy for their thriving businesses or killing of Christian’s but then kill ibos. It’s just beyond me. I hated the killings.
What makes kano second major city? An urban sprawl of several million huts and one-bed bungalows may spread over a large expanse of land is not necessarily bigger in population than a compact city with high rise buildings. That is why you lot will always fail any test involving logical reasoning. If you want to know the truth, allow a credible census.
@@cj9339 That is what Abokis and Fulanis has fooled us to believe. Just like they fooled us for long that Hausa/Fulani is one tribe to gain numbers. Is there any factory you know in Kano? They are just selling cows and goats.
The non-Igbo communities in southeast are very small. Even Igbo themselves leave southeast for other parts of the country and stay long once the place becomes viable.
@davidmalonti7464 The question for me is why do the Igbos relocate enmass to other regions and other regions don't relocate to Igboland. I think it has to do with economic viability of a region.
@@fredkiller5132 Marginalization and lack of federal investment in southeast is the major cause Igbos relocating to other regions for better opportunities.Meanwhile we still have over 25 million Igbos living and working in SE..
Igbos in the north should have backup businesses in their homes in the East. You can invest in real estate as your backup plans. I have an Igbo family friend who does onions business in Enugu. He has built several houses and has tenants. But you can never see Northerners buying lands and developing parts of the East where they live in. These are people who have done the same business much longer. Parts of southern Nigeria dominated by Northerners are always the dirtiest. Meanwhile, those guys are making a lot of money from the South. You cannot say the same for Igbos living in the North. This simply tells you that the Northerners don't believe in your illusive One Nigeria. Furthermore, you can keep deceiving yourselves, but we know that Northern Nigeria is the most volatile part of the country. Every little thing results in massive killings of the Igbos. Don't be a sacrificial lamb of Nigeria; dying for Nigeria is not worth it. The moment you become stable in the North, sell off your business and move. Your life is more important than money. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.
Those northerners in the South East you see are all apprentice and servants as their real masters are in Kano, Sokoto, Kaduna etc. Don't be fooled, they own nothing and are simply working for the Aladji. That's why they are so dirty and can buy or rent a descent property.
Propaganda everywhere, don't deceive yourselves, there is no place like home, you may be enjoying today but one day you will say had I know, hausas are peaceful people but the other people have made that place a dead trap, let's separate please and you can live as a foreigner if you so wished for I can't stay there for free, umu knew adighi agwa Ochi nti na agha esugo
@@epictestsandquizzes Rubbish. The last time they tried that the not peaceful thing, what happened? You people seem to think that your brothers are not elsewhere too and nobody has a monopoly of violence. Just pray for peace. Landlord, travel and see.
@@ShamsuddeenLanihayatan So how many were killed in the east when you murdered Gideon Akaluka, put his head on a spike and paraded it around your city amidst a frenzied macabre procession?
During protest or insecurity alert. Sabon gari is always the first place to protect. Rounded by soldiers and police. Sabon gari is dominated by non indigenes. Thus Kano protect the non indigens
It’s not true Stop being sentimental, my mom had a Hausa customer, I remember him very well, his name is Musa, I remember how my mom always buy wrappers, shoes, n foodstuff for his wife when he travelled back to the north, he always called my mum, mummy, I will never forget his face….. We left Ojo barracks n lost contact with him…… I also have Hausa n Muslim classmates here in school, they re one of the best n nobody discriminates n not give them their scores, cos they re not Igbo……..
have you been to the east have u for one day since Biafra war that an Hausa has been killed in the east, try and come to Hausa market in Aba, Owerri and Enugu and see for urself
Go to Owerri road asata Enugu state go to ama Hausa in Owerri and Aba Go to Fegge Onitsha..Infact there are more Hausa living and enjoying Igboland than Igbo in the north..
See this one. Who is ever happy in prison? Those Ibos in Kano are in prison of their own making because they can cut the crap right now and leave that violent place for their own good. Imagine a place where an argument over the price of tuwo in a Kano market can quickly snowball into a monumental crisis that can lead in the burning down of everything you own! Go to Iboland and you see the meaning of happiness- Hausa boys and girls interacting normally among themselves in Okigwe; night life in Ama Awusa in Aba, Owerri, Asaba, Awka etc. Landlord travel and see.
This is the reality, I am not surprised one bit by any of this! The Igbos are all over the place across Nigeria, including Abeokuta, Warri, Yenagoa and Kaduna! Yet IPOB would be acting as if the entire world (Nigeria) is against them! It is not accidental that two of the most powerful and nationally recognised Igbo leaders, Nnamdi Azikiwe and Emeka Ojukwu were both born in the North of Nigeria!! I hope more Nigerians watch and savour this video!! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
@@linkso7166 How can it not be my business? They are trying to disrupt my country! The only good thing is ipob are born losers! With nnamdi kanu rightfully where he belongs!! De ting sweet me well well! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!
You are known to post rubbish across social media platforms thereby advertising your crass ignorance. Can't you see you are fighting a lost cause and wasting your time and money? Do you own even one square inch of those places you mentioned or just chatting rubbish again?
Have you tried going there to settle you Igbo hater? Tell the truth, it is the money for transport that you don't even have. Also there are no government jobs there only business. Do you even have the capital? 😆 🤣 😂
Always Lagos this, Lagos that. No conversation can be had without losers like you ranting incoherently about Lagos. The same Lagos that bankrupted Nigeria on which the bulk of the oil revenue earned by the country was spent. Without oil money to repair and maintain it, even the so-called 4th mainland bridge would have fallen into disrepair already. So get a flipping life.
I was born in Kano..I grew up right in the midst of the Hausa people and they are so accommodating..Please feel free to visit, it’s not as it is in the news
In Lagos they destroy Igbos properties illegally without any notification while here in the North an Igbo man is free to vote his choice during election and own any property he like without any discrimination or threat. Yorubas come learn from us how to live and interact with non Yorubas.
Don't come up with that sentiment!!! There are Igbos in my area where I reside in lagos. Every night, they hold a night party, making a deafening noise with their language, but never ever had they been chased out of the area and I imagined if such nuisance would be tolerated in the south-east region. Igbos always want to outsmart Yoruba but all their efforts proved abortive. Yorubas are affable; we accommodates many tribes from different part of the states; we don't advocate discrimination; but we will never accept being outwitted.
Ask him how many non-igbo are thriving in the South East. How many of those tribe have kings in the South East the way Igbo does across Nigeria and Ghana. How much land do they sell to Yoruba in the South East?
Those asking for Yoruba owned land in Igbo states have never lived outside their area. You only use falsehood to push unfounded cowardly comments. Come and invest in Igbo land. Nooo. But the Igbos who invest in your land are not cowards. 1993 June 12 riots opened the eyes of Yorubas to their fate anyday Igbos leave Lagos. You guys should not be afraid to invest in Igbo land.
@mathewc.e.2620 Your statement shows you are a deranged land thief and a crook, probably an oil thief too. Yes Ibos do own their own land in the places you mentioned and there is not a thing you can do about it. If you feel so miffed about their claims, then go and evict them from those areas.
Mr man, you go school at all? If you did, then you would know that wherever you see a structure, there is a function, The "crown kings" you deride is there for a purpose. Its function becomes clearer when Kano descends into chaos and frenzied ethnic riots targeting Ibos as it often does. At that time, even Yorubas find the usefulness and security implications of "crown kings". For now, keep dissing what you do not understand.
Yeah right. Whatever. Nothing is said about Gideon Akaluka, the pogroms and massacres. Everything is hunky dory until the next riots. Ibos must be more realistic, sleep with one eye open and adopt the philosophy of aku rue uno or keep deceiving themselves. Is it not the same angelic Kano people that conspire to exclude Ibos from power permanently in Nigeria?
Hausas l knew growing up, in the late sixties b4 the Civil war though in Niger Delta were very nice people. I think it's the Fulanis deceived by the Yorubas that have caused these damages
Why you ibos not tell Hausa that Kano is no man's land. I'm glad you mention they're you're host community just like Lagos host you but because too much privileges given to ibos in Lagos, you now want to be dragging ownership with Lagosians.
You are a Yoruba man and Lagos does not belong to you. The idea of Lagos as no mans land was that of Alhaji Lateef Jakande, a former governor and Lagos indigene in who made the claim in his bid to make Lagos a home to everyone. So shush.
Aishat Abdullahi, yea right. Ibo will be Ibo, Hausa will be Hausa, Yoruba will be Yoruba. Prof. Chike Obi named his son Mustapha and Zik named his son Bamidele. Did any of that save Ibos from pogroms and genocide in 1966-70 and did that save Akaluka? No! So what's the flipping point? Just go and sit down and make person hear something, ok?
Stop selling false narrative... Sabon gari generates more funds than 80 percent of the places in Kano. Yet they do not have anything that indicates they live in a city. No road, no light, no water and yet u taxes re high.
Was anyway in Kano built with oil money from eastern Nigeria as "federal capital"? Was Mr Lateef Jakande who promoted Lagos as no man's land ever the governor of Kano? Answer the questions or shush.
