Kano doesn't look bad at all. I love the boulevard structure of the roads. Overall Kano looks like a midrange city in the Middle East but with wider roads and more trees. Really good.
@@DavidNkwa There is disproportionately more content on Southern Nigeria than Northern Nigeria. Most have a view that the North is very under developed because Northerners are conservative. You are doing a good job which is very necessary to foster unity in the Nation.
Kano is indeed a beautiful city. We Nigerians need to appreciate our country more. Many other African countries or some countries in the Middle East, the Americas and Asia has 2 or 3 developed cities but in Nigeria you will find 2 to 3 developed cities in each of the geopolitical regions.
@@Emetex please help me understand your misunderstanding or what make the statement funny. Can you name more than one major city (cities) in Beliz, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Guayana? Surinam to name a few. Thus countries are in the Americas.
@emmanuelokonta1241 There use to be times developments were ranked as first, second and third developing countries, Nigeria being the latter, to make it clear to u, most US citizens are trooping to central and south America for vacation and boat cruises, their cities will make u curse ur politicians, the only set back about them is insecurities and gang violence, google is ur friend.
Kano is underdeveloped due to illiterate psycho islamic teachers. This islamic scholar only talk about religion, dress ,sex and women. Thousand of innocent people are killed in name of Islam.
the city of Kano is one of the most beautiful in sub-Saharan Africa. The urbanization is well respected and this is what makes the modernity of this city. Really Nigeria makes you dream
When i was a kid I always dream about living in Nasarawa GRA cause it famous for rich kids hmmmm life, you re flashing me my childhood I can't even recognize the roads anymore cause there are more houses now.... Good Job David
I do sometimes. Other times people say they prefer, nature street drive noise. You can check this with music: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I2aLIBJzj2k.html
Kano is the same word as kanu in lgbo, spelt differently due to pronunciation....For people that don't know kano before, this will seem alright, but some of us that know kano when we were younger the city looks dirty and rundown now.Kano used to be much more beautiful, cleaner and greener than this...Nice one!Thank you.
Kano looks much changed since I was there in the late 1960s. One big change for me are the ubiquitous Keke-NAPEPs -- the yellow three wheeled motorcycle taxis. The one thing that looks the same is the dusty sky of the Harmattan wind.
I like the boulevardish appearance of the roads... But the kekes spoilt them... An ancient city like Kano should boast of a more sophisticated transportation system.
To be honest, we Kano residents have always said that. However, the state government is trying to improve the transportation system in the state by removing keke from major city streets.
Really appreciate your work show casing Kano & other parts of Nigeria. I will always remember Kano after spending few days there before I Japa Abroad for studies long time ago. Beautiful historical buildings!!
Bro you're doing OK but you need to be either writing on the screen or verbally saying the names of the streets and names of the area or local govt you're driving tru. I was born and bred in Kano but could only recognise a few of the areas as you named only a few. Best to actually right on the screen. Weldone though. I enjoyed the video.
I was born in Kano but left when I was 6, I always have an affinity for the State, like my home town, even as a Yoruba man with no current ties to Kano.
Some of the other cities in Abuja r nicer painted n looking fine. This place is drab mazie David you show jabbi Kabwa wuze 2 viewing from US hoping to visit for a long trip. Trying to find a nice place to live.
you are a nigerian go and study the vlog by the kenyan and free your mind of your superiority complex and mind the language of your cultural expression
That's what they call landmark, it is what people remember the road by, it adds aesthetics to a city or an area. Everything isn't about money but purpose, haven you seen Nollywood uses Lekki Bridge for their films, why didn't they chose an ordinary road?
@@DavidNkwa please don't cover any election because you are not hired and even if you are hired, I don't think it's to do so unless you feel comfortable.
Kano just never appeals to me! I am always afraid that a Muslim mob can erupt at any time! Just why are the electric cables allowed to hang so very low above the streets? One has to be doubly careful in this city!
@@muhammadabdulkareem4595 History has borne witness to killings by Muslim mobs for the slightest mistake a non Muslim can make! What is sad, is that there is no room to reeducate or advise a person if they do wrong, just the jungle justice of beating the person to death! Often these mobs in Kano in particular, would then go beyond the one individual to attack all non indigenes and other minorities in the state. I say me I no dey come the far north anytime soon!
What is your obsession with modern houses? These are beautiful medieval Hausa houses that tell a story and the history of a place. In Europe most houses are medieval looking representing European historical culture.
Every thing doesn't have to look western. You are blaming them to look like middle east while you have no problem with your white masters looking houses in your city. Why are you obsessed with Europeans culture? And by the way, these are traditional hausa houses not middle eastern .
Most if not all I’ve these houses are built with cash!. Owners do not owe money to anyone. How many people in Canada can afford to build, buy houses cash?
No at all , they own nothings in this part of kano, the only places they have a property is in sabon-gari or jaba ,, and if you watch his previous videos he make a documentary on those areas where easterners own lands , but not in this area
@@muktarahmadtijjani154 That is to say the area belongs to the indigenous Arewa the BIAFRA neighbours???. If yes, it is highly beautiful to me!!!!. A>>>>H>>>>BIAFRA.
😂😂😂 Our Igbo brothers in Kano don't have time for these kinds of rhetoric. They are too busy chilling and doing business with their Kano friends. It is only people living outside that have nothing to lose that keep trying to incite division.
@Mahmoud. 100% exact! Facts: Igbos living in the North don't even want to live else where, based on my conversation with them. They have made themselves at home
