50 Years of History! The Most Famous Mee Goreng in Penang 

I like the fact that he will blanch the yellow noodles (i believe is to remove the alkaline taste and excess grease of the noodles) but I also think it is cleaner that way. He should also blanch the beansprouts as the process can remove the smell and residue.

Sy cuma lagi suka kalau minyak masak yg elok punya. Mahal sikit pun takpa lah. Sebab kat rumah sy guna minyak elok punya.

Saya ada prgi makan hri tu msa visit penang.. Sy jenis yg klau ckp mee goreng mee tu btul² kna goreng bukan kena letak dekat kuah².. Nak yg kering bukan yg cair².. So msa makan hri tu sy x suka.. Kwn² yg ikut msa tu pun ckp x suka.. Mungkin utk org yg suka "mee goreng" yg mcm berkuah² ah mungkin suka.. Samalah mcm char koey teow.. Char koey teow yg patutnya msti kering, minyak tu kena dengan noodle tu.. Klau letak atas kuah memang bukan "char" Atau "goreng" Lah namanya

It doesn't matter how old it is. It may be 50 years or 100 years the nostalgic aroma of the mee mamak aka kaka mee isn't there. This is just a sales gimmick by saying 50 years old.

Well, you all only know how to comment. These people have been there for ages and there must be reasons for their continued existence. I could not see anyone barefooted in this video. If you guys don't have anything nice to say about their business, just shut your trap up. How would you know they are using unwashed eggs? Were you there when they prepared them?

For those who dont know, this is already a normal or even better quality for hygiene for indian malay cuisine. Most of them are even worse than this. But their food taste better than i looks

Cloth was used to lift up the wok when handling charcoal, but those noodles touched that same side of the wok too, was the cloth clean?

Looks delicious. Hours and hours of preparation at home..which we're unaware of. I thank hawkers like these for pampering to our laziness..where would we be without them in our times of hunger !!!❤ 😂😢🎉.. Its a unique dish only these Indians can whipup. Trust me I've tried.😢

At least these people don't sit in front of the bank door begging even tough these beggars are perfectly healthy and on top of that these people work hard without expecting any aid from any sources unlike many who sits at home and and expect fortunes or aids to fall through their roof. So those who are commenting please ask your self if you could ever match their hours of non stop working infront of the flames with yours lazing on your office chairs where half of the day spent on handphones. No one stuff the food they cooked in your mouth so no need to talk all the shits. Very simple if you are doubtful don't eat. I do that. I never kill any food vendors with all the nasty idiotic comments if I doubtful of their hygiene. I just don't eat their food. After covid many business struggle their way up. Remember those who gave up their lives not to be able to cope with loss. So if you think you are giving information to the foodies about the hygiene of the food vendors think twice. Today even a 5 star food outlet can give you a tummy upset.
