Everything looks great. Just one bit of safety advise and will save you some heartache in the future. Get a ratchet srap for your fridge instead of bungee cords. A hard bump or turn with bungees and a top heavy fridge is a resipe for disastor. Ratchet straps have no give and once tightened, your item wont move at all. You can pick up cheap sets at Harbor freight or other discount places. If it is extra long you can shorten the strap buy cutting off the excess. Keep doing what your doing.

I have the same Ikea kitchenette & it def works. I velcroed my sides w fabric and in the front I used a thin curtain rod w matching curtains as the sides so that I can easily slide the curtains back n forth. I have two in the front as u would on a window. It's easier to access both sides. I have a very similar water system as well. I went w a very affordable build w things that don't require a lot of maintenance, electric etc. so if something breaks it's a cheaper, easier fix. I'm 54 & been otr for a lil over 4 years and I don't regret those decisions because I see a ton of expensive faucets for example & they burst or leak or freeze up n I have never had an issue!! I also have a USB water faucet that just has a hose that goes into the same 3 gallon jug and I maybe recharge it once or twice a year and have never had an issue. For me it just works. I didn't have the money or experience to do a full on professional build so I did what I could & it could b better, could b worse but I put a ton of blood, swear & tears into it & I am so happy & proud of myself. I wish I was able to start a channel but i just feel to boring lol. I also make journals & jewelry otr for fun so maybe one day!! I have mad respect for u for doing this & I have sub'd n will b supporting ya!!! ✌🏼💕

I like the cloth on the wall to "soften" things up. Also, the cloth under the sink is great for making things look good. I'm always changing things around in my minivan, so I will try your refrigerator idea. It might work well for me.

The fabric will also help a little as insulation. Yes it looks nice. I love all you’ve done.

A good start on your van build. For me the raised frig is a good idea. I would try to do it the same level as the sink to extend workspace if the shelves are adjustable. You will make changes as you go along on your daily use. If it suits you is what is important. 😊 I have collected most of what I need at thrift stores; just need my van so your way ahead of me.

suggestion - you could do short videos picking one item in your van and showing how you have set it up and modified it to fit. That way you could get quite a few videos out of it. Even talk about ideas you have, future plans etc for the van's interior? Either way keep up the videos

I have the same kitchenette! The fabric is a good idea! You could also upcycle it if you decide to do paneling.. I still have bare metal and bungee cords to hold everything in place. Never have time.. and can't make a decision to save my life!

Too many people take that kind of thing out when editing..... I want to see how you do it because it helps me see with my limitations maybe I too can do what you are doing. I am only 3 hours away from my older 2 kids from my first marriage, and I still only see them for like 5 hours every 3 months due to all of our schedules and health issues. I wish I could see them more and for longer because I feel like I am missing too much of my 3 grand-daughters lives and they are growing up too fast. I would love to have my channel blow up like yours, that would be a dream come true for me. I plan to start vanlife in a few more years when the 2 teen boys I still have living at home(yes, I started a second family late in life; my oldest is old enough to be my 2 youngest mother, lol) I love watching channels like yours. Maybe one day when you are up north up one of your visits we could even meet in the future. I am Canadian but I am in Southern ON so in the east enough to drive to meet up.

I would love to see the outside of your van. I can’t remember what you said it was. Lol! I just thought an older Ford Transit Connect 2010, with a lot of miles on it BUT I’m praying it last for a few more years! I’m in the process of of building it out, it was already built out for the most part but of course I have to change some things. Lol! I’m trying to film it as I go! I’m planning on making a RU-vid channel as well. I have no idea how to edit anything but I’m going to try! Haha! I have been given some links to some good editing apps so I will try them out! My sister's little dog has so much hair and she (the dog) has been living with me for over a year. If she was mine I would probably have her groomed, but my sister has not given me any of her documents (I think she thinks I would keep her, she bad, I wouldn't, though I doubt she will ever want to leave me). I cut her myself and she looks a mess but is very appreciative and thinks herself cute. Once I get her straight my daughter's dog, who also lives with me and weighs nearly 70 pounds, wants a wash and blow dry too even though she is short hair.

Congrats. And no apologies needed for me. I use that word all the time and my kids always correct me and then I correct them because I meant what I said. I tell them people with learning disabilities or other are NOT retarded and I never understood why that word was used to describe people with certain disabilities. Baffles me. So I understand. I’m careful in public tho cuz I know others don’t view it as I do.
