501 Ways, Thinking that going to the Chickin' Court restaurant was living large and throwing a coin into the wishing well. Going to the tunnel BBQ and feasting on the most perfect ribs in the world. Going window shopping at night on Oullette Street without any concern. Going to the department store to get new shoes and looking through the x-ray machine at your wiggling toes. and the big upside down ice cream cone on the side of the street where you could get a right side up treat. going through the tunnel late at night as fast as you could go. and being in the childrens ward at Metropolitan hospital and Freekin' Captain Jolly came through to give a gift to the kids

This is an excellent video. Lots of good memories for me here! I was born and raised in Windsor during the 60's and 70's. Had to leave in the 80's to find work (like a lot of people). Lived and worked in the Toronto area since then and now count the days when I can retire and return home to this special place. Windsor has survived and its people have endured. I have missed this town.

You know you are from Windsor when you remember seeing Al Stewart sing "Time passages" in 1989 at California's Road House in Walkerville. The backing band ruined the P.A. settings and there were about 50 people max. But was a great experience with friends.

Surprised at how many places I've actually been to, and alas, how many places have been torn down! A friend from Windsor sent me this book as a gift. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! Spreading the word amongst some ex- Windsorites here in Winnipeg about it. You did a terrific job, even got Patterson and the Volcano in it! Woo Hoo!! Thanks for all of your work.

Thanks for the memories. Downtown is very sad now. There is no life especially during the day and afternoon. At night its scary US teens getting their drunk on. Usually I go back to visit family and friends. We drive around but its too sad. I enjoy our water front parks, Jackson Park and of course spend my money in Devonshire Mall.

I was born on 1/3/2002 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, at the former Grace Hospital on the corner of University Ave, and Crawford Ave. The hospital closed in 2004, and the building was demolished in 2013.

Interesting.....I recall a high school (Centennial) English class assignment that included video, and we used this music. In fact, some of the snaps look familiar as well... ;-) ......Leann Holton Henshaw
