Its so great going to a new spot, having a fun adventure with a mate and finding some treasure! Crazy to think another magnet fisher didn’t see this dream find but luckily Hannie had his eyes peeled! Full that bucket with vinegar to remove rust. Rinse after with water and baking soda to neutralize the vinegar.

Great video and great finds. All abt history. How lucky you are. I will never get to amsterdam or other areas, so enjoy seeing all the places you go for magnet fishing. Sometimes I think you will end up swimming, when so close to those edges.

What is the best way to remove all the build up caused by centuries of Bacterial anaerobic corrosion, without dissolving it all ?, its amazing how some older metals are prone to this process more than others, like square nails and even the arrow head......excellent path find 🏹 “Laughter is wine for the soul - laughter soft, or loud and deep, tinged through with seriousness - the hilarious declaration made by man that life is worth living.” Fun and laughter is the perfect ingredient to your adventures, & a big reason I follow these adventures and Wim & Joopies ! We love your videos! Especially for the historical finds and information. My great grandmother’s family are natives to Terneuzen, Zeeland. Have you and Nikki ever been there? I’ve read that there’s a canal that links Netherlands to Belgium that could be interesting. Our ancestory goes back for centuries in that area. Curious to know your guy’s take on the area. At time 15:39 it is the end of a pike pole for moving logs on water. Called a boom log to go to the mill. I sell them for loggers.

How about getting a short length of wood 2 x 4 (5mm x 10mm) leave one end flat and put a vee, or notch in the 10 mm side. When you are stuck. Run the rope through the notch and place the flat end against the wall the wood. This will redirect the pulling effort out and away. Just a thought.
