Hey Leigh , I was thinking . Have you ever thought that the magnets are designed wrong ? They should be square instead of round . That would give them more sticking surface . The round magnets only stick strong when flat surface is attached. It might create more of a snagging problem but would be great for lifting heavy safes .

I think it doesn't matter if round or square as the surface is equally big. But a wider magnet in general might help, yeah

Thieves dump them there to get rid of evidence. I have no idea however how these thieves know how to locate where saves are kept and then steal them. Judging from just these video's it must happen quite frequent

For these finds I would recommend a davit and pulley to reach over the lip at the bottom. The pulley would make lifting easier 😊

Another nail biting episode. My best guess, is that safe contains the empty wallets and remnants of many robberies. Maybe all robbed in one night/ week? Then they disposed of the remains in one toss. Would explain 2 id's found. Good show!

That was hilarious. 4 people going through a safe on the side of the road as if it was an everyday occurance😂😂 Well done on getting up the height you did guys. No wonder you both were exhausted afterwards. At least there was a few things inside this one even if they were falling apart. I reckon those small beads were from either a Pandora or charm bracelet. You need a grappling hook. It will help you a lot in these situations. Happy Hunting Cheers!

I absolutely agree with having a grappling hook at the ready ... but in this situation it might not have been a good idea, because the lid was partially open. Suppose the hook would get in there, pry open the lid and spill the contents into the water. You would like to have a good grip, but that also would mean opening it too soon. In this situation the rope-loop underneath was the best option.
