The last deer I spoke to was while running and begging it not to kill me. At the same time I was praying to God not to run into a grizzly bear. It was deeply Spiritual! The thought occured to me then at 64 I was to old to be running down logging roads. Now at 66 I feel comfortable leaning back with healing thought's. And have totally fallen in love with this family. I take herbs and roots to ease the pain but the doctor recommended medication as well. My spirit dances when others do. I dance also when the pain allows. Yes, as a westerner - UK - nevertheless I do feel the same as you. I didnt realise the significance of the Amazon Forest burning - apart from the obvious physical - until I read website where it says that South American Indians are the 'gardeners' of that land that helps to keep everything just so on this earth because they are one with the land, and the land is one with them. As is said, western science-lead, personal greed-lead thinking and actions dismiss the spiritual because it does not uphold their science or greed. The fact that the land and the spiritual came first and existed pretty much in harmony for eons is dismissed as fairy stories!
