Love the videos. As a beginner independent artist, seeing you spend over 30 dollars on promotion and only get 27 cents in return kind of makes me think. Are there any less cost effective methods or will it pay out in the long run?
You don't get paid off pays from repost exchange. Plus, my goal to build a fanbase, not make money. And I've spend well over $100 to get the results you see in this video. If you can't spend that amount then you have to find alternative ways.
Hey Adrian! So, just locked in my first collab with a rapper, and am working on my exposure through the channels you taught me. Now, question: What's with these promoters with like 0 followers? I am not complaining, I'm grateful for the Reposts regardless. It's just, my instincts are telling me it smacks of scam--but my ego tells me that I'm just easy to love. Anyone else care to weigh in?
Honestly I have so much respect for you, and have learned so much on your channel, that I'm gonna be very frank: I like, can't risk losing the Reposts, right now? See, there's this person on You Tube that's got me all stoked as heck about advertising via Sound Cloud... (lol) If you haven't heard of an issue, I'm sure I'm just misreading something; But at the base of it all, it'd feel like I'm ratting on someone; I just, I can't do that Adrian--it's not in me and I hope you understand. Thank you as always for the information and incredibly reliable responses. I've been sending anyone who bring up Sound Cloud questions your way!
First off, thank you for your support. And second, I can't give you advice unlease I can see what you are referring to. Send it to me in DM on IG @adrianbarrin
Im not a producer and just a Dj recording my set. I play everything from Techno to Progressive psy and electro. Is it worth paying for #Soundcloud pro ? Thanks for sharing all this information here on youtube.
Only if you plan on uploading and producing a lot of music. Also, I'd only get it once I reached my upload limit or if I get enough streams to where I can monetize from.
@@AdrianBarrin To be honest i pay for youtube premium and have a second youtube account using my Dj name. So i might just uploade it here. Thanks for taking your time its much appreciated.
Thanks for this amazing video. @Adrian Barrin I have been struggling to get copyright for a song that I finished a while ago via my country's licensing channels. How else can I obtain copyright and publishing writes if not via my own country? How does SoundCloud generate the ISRC code?
how come you have only 0.26 $ from 5000 plays? I haven't monetized yet but I've read that on average it should give 3 dollars on every 1000 plays! so you might have fake traffic from does chanels otherwise you should have 15 dollars out of 5000 plays
First of all, I really like your channel. 5000 in 5 days is amazing! However, you didn't start from scratch. You have 1600 subscribers. That's 1 play by each person for 3 days. Scary to see that you didn't even make a single $1 for 5000 plays! That's crazy! I like the video you made though! However, you spent $30 to make $0.30! Plus you paid to get your stuff reposted by 5 channels. And you only gained 100 followers? Nice to see that you made the charts though. Interested to know how much you made by selling the track? Did you get reimbursed by making sales?
The tips are cool to give boost on the stats, but all you are doing is mounting "fake" subscribers. I mean, they're real, but you got 6k followers now but the plays on your track didn't glow up with it. They're just numbers. Cause repost exchange can be a good way to meet people who are doing music like you, and support each others, but the majority is here to grind some points to make their own repost campaign. They wait 5sec that the repost got unlock and they're never gonna come back to your music. It helps getting some plays, but not building a real solid fan base.
@@AdrianBarrin yea i understand the whys about it for sure. it would be nice if good music could just be appreciated for being good music is all i was saying.
@@rareGUNDAM_ i feel the same way as you but sadly its not the climaye we in yes business stragety is key but along with that it should be fans having love for the actual craft not whats thrown in their face cause ads or however they see it
