Not to be a killjoy, but I'd take this vid down until your friend is finished with whatever court date he's got. Keep it handy in case you need it to prove he wasn't out of control, but cops love vids like this. They can easily calculate speed from it.
Yeah, but he threw the phrase "reckless driving" out. I don't know what the laws are in that area, but if an officer makes an assertment like that, some places give them the ability to have the car towed and impounded and the driver held, pending charges. I don't agree with it, but it's the officer's word (and in this case the video) against the driver's. In all honesty, if this happened and the court date is still pending, i'd delete this video off the internet. It just proves the guy's guilt.
