The reason you were shocked when you first touched the motor when connected to 220V supply is because you had a low potential around your body. Less than the 220V potential and your body has a capacitance. When you touched and got shocked, it was like you are a discharged capacitor getting charged. Once charged, you won't get shocked again.

Could you explain how this motor/generator works? How does the current flow perpendicular to the magnetic field to get rotational motion as the winding of the stator are in the same plane as the rotation of the permanent magnet?

@@kamisama9715 hey, i build it quite a while ago, but i decided not to use the microwave motor cuz i didnt get that mouch power, instead i used a diffrend generator, it made quite some power but i didnt use it anymore so i dissasembled it.

Why don't you use tester to check if the body of the motor is somehow sorted with winding rather than touching it🙄? And moreover you can take a Multimeter to check the voltage and if shorted that's gonna show 220V .

First the ac current goes into a full bridge rectifier which is usually rated up to 1000 volts ac and converts the incoming current into dc. From there it is sent into a smoothing capacitor meaning that the input frequency is meaningless now. And as we know, voltage drops when a load is connected so it is fine since this is not a high current source.

The main reason was so you can power your electronics. How does it work? Your generator's armature winding produces a very low power from RESIDUAL MAGNETISM. This power produces a magnetic field in the field winding, which enhances the magnetic field and thus the current produced by the generator. I have done this on my channel and it worked! Check it out! I will also try using this method with initial battery excitation
