Really there are a number of choices for the carb but everybody points to the Mikuni carb because it is the Japanese quality that is over the top. That's what I am going to do. I'm getting a 26mm Mikuni. The only problem is the cable comes off the top so you have to leave off the interior bucket lid. There may be other methods of rigging it up but the Mikuni is killer!
Ok fella im going ro tell you how to derestrict a taotao, take of the cover to the clutchand variator, bestto watch a yt guide. Then with a rattle gun remove the variator and inbetween the disk faces where the belt goes there will be a plastic or metal washer, remove and reassemble. Also cut the pink wire that goes to the cdi box as thats the one thats the speed limiter. Deffs watch a yt tutorial about the variator removal and make sure the rollers go in properly and when sliding the variator back on make sure to keep pressure on the back and front so the rollers dont turn sideway on ya. If you look up variator roller mod 50cc some good tutorials will come up, also gday from Australia
I am so mad for what is in the newspaper, someone let her boyfriend drive her 10year kid and he didn't tell he was drunk she new he drank a couple of beers earlier, okay so took her kid on the interstate on ramp 25 on I-75 and as soon as on I-75 around mile marker 26, he had only gone less then a mile past the on ramp, he was headed to the next exit 29, anyhow they took the mother to jail said she wanted him to murder her child.. i never heard such shi#, the child died the doctors saved the guy driving the moped, cops says he was drunk but doctors have blood work if was or not according to the doctor its not said yet but cops say he smelt like it, remember he had to go to the hospital,... Anyhow *complicty to commit murder* seemed like something ain't right, he had a 49 or 50cc rouge scooter I'm sure he made a video showing how fast it gets but its not online or i cant find.. i think it matters if it had a mod kit upgrade but the news is acting like it only goes 30-40mph .. i think it's messed up to tell a mom her kid is dead and then charge her with murder, i was trying to find dash cam videos because if the Kia Sportage suv couldn't move over to the left then that lane hwd someone else in it.. it's not family but i don't think they should charge the mother with *complicity to commit murder* The mother may have rode with him before and thought it goes faster than 40mph or he showed her video of how fast. I don't think she wanted her kid killed
I got a Gy6 150cc moped/scooter has 5900 miles on it I’ve maintained it well people say they only last 10-15k miles at most before it needs a rebuild is that true ? I really would like to know for sure how long they last I keep getting different answers
They can certainly last longer 50k if maintained. 150cc gy6 is a honda clone and is pretty well built. But also if you happen to damage your engine you csn buy a brand new 150cc gy6 with cvt on amazon for less than $300 that will literally bolt on in minutes to an existing moped
@@punkrctlw ur sure there more reliable then what most people think? Tons of people say there not great motors I got a Suzuki gs500f 2007 has 21k miles wound it be worth it to trade for a Gy6 moped 150cc with 6k miles ?
@@punkrctlw I just find moped’s super fun to ride Is the main reason I’m considering trading my Suzuki for one and the one with 6k miles is in good shape runs decent
@troyholland3436 they can be reliable if maintained. But the parts around them are probably gonna fail more frequently. I had a 150cc gy6 scooter i got brand new. Ran great for the first 3k miles. Then the muffler broke off. I replaced the muffler. But then ste stator went bad. I replaced the stator and sold it for a bigger bike. Those things broke but the engine itself never needed to be replaced. The parts were inexpensive and easy to replace. But if you have a better brand like yamaha you shouldn't really need to be replacing any of those parts
@@punkrctlw ok I got the bike straight piped haven’t messed with jetting you think it’s bad ? It’s running pretty good idles fine just pops a bit when I let off the Throddle I have no muffler on it will it ruin the motor over time?
