Hope you're enjoying it. A nice scoot. I ordered the Thunder 50 for $850 delivered. Being delivered next week. I like the Thunder better because of the larger (12 inch) tires and the dual rear shocks for comfort. I'm swapping out the spark plug for an NGK plug and the gear oil. More importantly, I'll be changing the shipped oil and then changing it again after one hour of riding (break in). Variator weight tuning is in the cards later. Thanks for the video!

Ive had the same one for over 6 months. I think the head gasket is going cause oil is leaking near the muffler contact point with engine block.

Try having a school bus a foot from hitting your back tire because the light just turned green and the moped takes longer to get back up to 50mph. than a full sized school bus I learned not to be on the side road before 11am that day.

brand new got it 6months ago(back surgery) it has never been turned on pulled out put gas in it & I checked oil & I push button & NOTHING happened. I thought maybe battery all the lights came on!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Having owned one similar and worked on it. The best upgrade you can do is replace the variator, weights and belt with quality parts. A proper variator has a brass ring cutting friction and transmission lag. I would also change out the oil just to ensure that there is no debris in the engine from manufacturing of defects. A metallic sheen is normal up to 1000km

Car issue I've had similar events on larger motorcycle, it's the reduced vision of the helmet. Safety first and all, prefer a police more open helmet just for better vision. Great Full protection full helmet, but just be Aware! Good Luck! Careful Out There!

Mines a 2019 and i don't have to give it any gas at all when i start mine up mines registered for 50mph tho but its still a good decent bike for price

I think they are junk, my son purchased one, came yesterday and wouldnt start cause the switch and headlight wouldnt work, plus it has multi purpose oil in the crankcase, what's up with that

I just bought my 2020 Tao Tao pony 50 mine is orange I only have 11 miles now gotta say amazing bikes

I took good care of mine and had it for over 3 years with no issues other than a belt change. I always did oil change and ran premium fuel. I also changed the weights for better acceleration witch got it up to 50 mph so I was able to keep up with traffic. So dont beat up on it and it will last. I also went to auto zone and bought led lights for the bottom using a toggle switch so I can be seen at night. The LEDs on the bottom light up the whole street under me. The lights came with a adhesive already but I used super glue just incase. I sold it and saw the same scooter going down my street all light up. That was a really good idea cause you can see it a mile away. So take good care of it cause it is still made in China and keep the oil clean and dont use crap gas and you should be fine with it.

I have one in orange. I love it. BUT BUT it is one of the easiest bike to steal SO take my advice..LOCK IT UP TIGHT. also one other thing alot of motorcycle shops WILL NOT FIX THIS if you do want a tao tao I highly recommend calling shops to see who can fix it. If it does need parts there are website that can give you the parts at decent price.

i have that same scooter and color their well worth the money i own too of them.

I hope you checked your gear box oil not the engine oil if not youll burn up your gears and not be able to drive just a heads up I had the taotao150 and did that to mine so yeah just letting you know you would think it comes with oil already in it but most times there never filled from the factory so defiantly check it

Do not use 93 octane gas. Use regular. The engine has low combustion. No point.
