519 - 6 LIVE Shiny Pokemon in the Hoenn Safari Zone! Safari Week 2020 Compilation (Win or Fail?) 

Some extra details: -I was hunting Girafarig with a lv. 27 repel trick, which makes it so the Pokemon's encounter rates are as follows: Oddish 48.78%, Girafarig 24.39%, Wobbuffet 24.39%, and Pikachu 2.44% -After this video, I am now on Phase 16 for Girafarig in this area. I know there's a trick out there utilizing Pokeblocks that can make it so a Pokemon is far less likely to flee, but I want to end this hunt the way I started it: living on the edge and chucking Safari Balls only at it like an idiot. -I streamed a few times this week at twitch.tv/absoltastic, but none of these safari shinies were found on stream. -I'm still floored by seeing how many people participated in Safari Week this year. I am still slowly trying to catch up on seeing what people found on the hashtag and will probably be watching your safari shinies as I hunt! -Isle of Armor stuff is coming very soon, and I plan on finishing the gameplay for a Gauntlet I've been working on this week as well!! I'm also working towards uploading the disobedient playthrough of Let's Go. Lots of vids on the way soon, and I hope to stream a little bit more often, too!

You inspired me to participate in the Safari Week for the first time! Was also the first time I hunted with more than one device (A DS Lite, New 3DS XL and DSi in this case) and I just barely managed to sneak in my target, Shuckle in the HGSS Safari Zone, right before the week ended! I'm already excited for Safari Week 2021, this time tho I'm not bothering with repels (unless doing RSE where you can just stay in place), cuz that was a goshdarn hassle and a half! (But so worth it in the end)

This was my first ever safari week. I had a drought of about 18k going into safari week, and was really hoping to end it in the zone! After 7373 on the morning of the last sunday of safari week I encountered my target girafarig in my ruby! Unfortunately it fled after 4 balls, but 129 encounters later in my emerald I found shiny Aipom! I managed to catch it in 9 balls with only 1 shake on the fourth ball until the final ball shook 3 times and caught! 1080 encounters later I found another shiny aipom, which fled after 4 balls, but I was so glad just to end my drought before the week was up! Hopefully we can both reclaim our Girafarigs!

this was my first time participating in safari week and also my first time hunting full odds in older games! because i just crave the suffering i guess. i found two shiny misdreavus and failed them both unfortunately (second one pulled a three shakes fake and fled immediately...) currently still looking for the third one, hopefully i can catch it! Those QBW5G towers must be causing the wobbuffet/oddish cycle in the safari zone. Thank goodness it hasn't affected the legs of native girafarig exposed to it!

I hope you get Girafarig someday man! I've got three on the reclaim checklist now: Tropius from last year, & Kangaskhan(8,394) and Carnivine(9,316) this time around. I got a Wooper in 510 and a Croagunk(which apparently has a really high flee rate, but it actually stayed for 4 balls before catching in the 5th!) in 2,186. I didn't do as good as I did last year, but still a fun time! Can't wait for next year, hopefully I'll have some Gen III games to hunt in by then!
