A hunt that's been "6 years" in the making has finally been completed (but most of those 6 years were spent procrastinating it). Thanks so much to everyone who kept me company on the nights I streamed this, and thanks so much to everyone who has been motivating me to do this hunt by doing so many Gamecube hunts!! I really genuinely began to enjoy streaming again because of this hunt (btw I stream at twitch.tv/absoltastic). Again, sorry for all the framedrops in the resets leading up to the encounter!!! Bayleef really just wanted to shine in the middle of those technical difficulties LOL

1:32 This helped out a lot. When I was a kid and played Colosseum, I encountered shiny Raikou from the Ein battle. I didn't really know what shinies was back then, but I did recognize that the colours were different. Tried to catch it, but failed because I ran out of balls. It has bugged me for years, but after hearing this, im not that confident that it would have kept being shiny. At least I can hope so

Awesome! I definitely wanna go for a Shiny Shadow Pokémon one of these days myself. And that intro didn't deter me from watching your Colo/XD Shiny hunting guide, either- I remember finding it when I was preparing to hunt a wild Pokémon at the Rock Poké Spot. I ended up getting a Shiny Gligar with that hunt, too!

Every time I return to this video I'm amazed the Stunfisk is still there. I know it's completely irrelevant to the video but the fact that whole thing happened with the Stunfisk during the early days of "voting things off the layout" stuff was hilarious. I don't know if you left it there on purpose or if you just didn't notice it while doing this hunt but I'm glad it happened either way cause it's hilarious.

I'm happy that the shiny Zorua i picked was there for the shiny meganium even though I missed it. I'm so happy you got it! Shiny Meganium really reminds me of the Autumn season starting to come thru and the leaves starting to change colors.
