If I saw this in a gallery and didn’t know how it was done, I would wonder how the artist painted those fabulous rings. Brilliant, Julie! The contrast of light and dark is spectacular.
Both paintings are very stunning. Neither should be scraped! Such depth and striking colours and movement. Tons of love and respect from Alberta Canada where we are experiencing Autumn.
I absolutely LOVE this ring pour!!! This is the exact color scheme I've been trying to pull off and when my colors go underneath like your gold, they never come back through like that. The way the gold popped up like that on it's own is amazing!! It looks like you purposely put a gold frame around the pour. I would be so happy to have one turn out like that. I absolutely love your page. I always learn something from your videos so thank you!!
The trend now seems to be leaning towards the notions of outer space exploration these days! This is a very interesting topic and an exciting opportunity to bring a little speck of heaven down to earth in the form of abstract art! Dazzling images are becoming increasingly more beautiful and exciting to watch as they come into focus in the different styles that are being developed! This is a great way to explore space and texture in the brilliance of drop paintings. Once again we have come to witness a new level of genius at work! Again, you do yourself very proud! ❤
Don’t scrape! They are a great pair together and you could sell them that way. When you had them displayed side by side, I found myself looking for differences and similarities and it became mesmerizing. And your other comment from a viewer was right about how people find pleasure in a painting that maybe you couldn’t see but they did. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Although I haven’t tried this yet, I love seeing these pieces develop with so much surprise in the unexpected results. Definitely don’t scrape!
I Love these colors! I think that You have mastered this process. You have worked so hard, and experimented many times. This is my personal favorite. Thank You for the constant effort.
I am sorry what happened in Australia, I love this continent, its on time to come again. Your work looks stunning in dry, I will try it also, knowing that I can not compare with your painting becouse I dont have to much time to paint... I wish all paintartists in down under a nice healthy weekend without fire...🥰👍🙏🏻❤🍀🍀🍀🖐
You make it look so easy. My 1st attempt was a disaster, think I had the gold too thick but I am going to keep going till I get it right. The important thing is to have fun with your art. Love your work....thanks for sharing.
There are so many people who do 'pours' now on RU-vid. However, it takes an eye for color combinations that separates the good from the best. You, Pouring Your Heart Out, clearly have an eye for color combinations, which sets you apart.
Its because of you and sister acrylic pourers that have gotten me an interest in this art style. Just for fun mind you. Thank you, also, for being explanatory
Oh nooooo! Just when I think I've seen the best of your work, you come up with something exquisitely new and different. I'm positively addicted to watching you and your creativity!
Very nice. I did it today with iridescent copper acrylic instead of gold. I obtain some big copper cells around the caneva, same as the video. Please note that I add some silicon oil in the cooper pouring only. Be careful not to waste too much color while tilting.
Which did you end up liking better? The center did one of those optical illusion things. When I looked at it from your view, the center went back into a "cave". When I looked at it from our view, the center looked like a mountain. So unique. Every time you say you're going to have a cuppa...I get one too. But mine's Dr. Pepper. LOL
My son absolutely loves your videos and this "lava" painting is now a firm favourite. Thank you so much for making such lovely and educational videos, this may well be our next rainy day activity!
I am absolutely loving watching these for my evening relaxation! You inspired me to try this with my homeschooled son, and it turned out lovely (especially for a 14 y.o., art-resistant student!) ;) Thank you so much!!! :)
I love how the center looks like it’s popping out at you it’s almost perfect the way the darker shadow is underneath the swirls and the way that the orange highlights the top of it… It’s so neat and I love the gold bits! I’m just in awe of how you do this!!
Hi. Another painting well created ! this is stunning. I love the gold pearls and the definition in expressive colors. So intriguing. I can’t wait to try this.
My daughters school is collecting spare pennies for the schools in Australia to replace books that were lost in the fires. She had brought in all sorts of silver change as well as pennies. She is concerned the kids aren't getting to learn without books and supplies. I thought it was great when they announced it during an awards assembly that they were helping other schools. Glad you were safe during those fires. P.s. this is a beautiful painting. I like this one better than the one you showed. The lines are more defined. Thanks for sharing!
I saw a lot of creativity in such a technique, there is no originality! But there is a spreading process, which is controlled by the artist, but this is magic !!! I am sure that even an amateur who is ready to do this will create a masterpiece! But at the amateur level, since the nuances of owning mixing and spreading acrylic on canvas are not a momentary act, but the result of the author’s long experimentation. Лайк из России!
I love to hear your ideas. I did my first pearl painting after watching you do yours. I used an oval canvas. I got good pearls but my colors were a little dark, so I’ll redo it. My friends said my cloud pour looked like Hurricane Dorian 😄
What paint acrylics do you use for your pours some say apple bottom, Sax and some say liquid basics or amsterdem. What has worked best for you since you have started practicing pours. Also can I get the flame can from Micheals. Thanks.
Whatever you did, this one is gorgeous! Just look at the lines, the pearls, the depth, that beautiful middle! Wow! I like this one better than I do the darker one.
I love this! I've been doing ring pours on larger square canvases and am finding I'm getting much better results than with the rectangle canvases.(you're right, not as much stretching).I'm devastated about the sunny coast fires,I'm originally from Caloundra.
This piece is beautiful! Just gorgeous. I love the colors so bright and pure! Other fluid artists seem to always put white in their flow no matter what and it's hard to get real red when you put white in because it turns pink! This is just my cup of tea! Thank you for sharing this video!
Greetings from Norway😘 I just wonder how this is possible, it’s so beautiful 💖 you don’t use any silicone or oil in it, just the paint and floetrol? It’s impressive how many cells you get💖
I would like to know how sound would affect one of your pieces. Sand on a metal plate when vibrated with sound makes different shapes with different frequencies I wonder if you could do it with paint...?
I have been trying this technique and I can't seem to get it to work I don't know if my pants too thick or too thin or what any suggestions can't get the pearls to pop up
I have watched a lot of these videos on pours, and that is the most beautiful one I have seen! Not only is it my colors is just gorgeous! As a new artist I’m doing this one!! Thank you
I have never had any interest in acrylic pouring, didn't get the appeal. Stumbled here kind of randomly and was mesmerized. Such pretty results! That gold looks amazing. I will have to watch more.
I love this. Don't know if this helps at all but when I use this combination of colours I use Paynes Grey rather than black. It gives the contrast you want but doesn't take over. The brand I use - an ecomomy brand, is very dark and does not look blue-ish on the canvas. Always enjoy your videos. Thank you so much!
THIS could be fun to try, mainly because the ingredients are readily available to me. All the other speciality stuff is hard to obtain without a HUGE cost in Sweden. Thanks for inspiring us with such bold beauties!
Fabulous pour! The rings give the optical illusion of texture and depth. Your comparison to the ember fires was insightful, although I see a swirling vortex of active lava with spots of fire and heat floating above. Beautiful pour!
