This fan is in Polished Brass finish, has 5 glossy Medium Oak blades, it has a 4 Lights light kit, it has an Uplight, it has 4 40w clear incandescent light bulbs on the downlight, it has 4 5w clear incandescent light bulbs on the uplight, it has 3 original Hampton Bay pull chains, the UL sticker says December 2001, and this fan is from April 2002.
The blades are reversible, they are glossy Medium Oak and glossy Rosewood.
Parts that are not original to this fan: Light chain switch for the downlight, 3 switch housing screws, 1 reverse switch screw, 1 thumbscrew, 1 hanger ball screw, and 2 mounting bracket screws.
The light chain switch is new because the old one wasn’t working properly, and it was a 3 way chain.
Those screws were missing so I had to get new ones for this fan.
This fan did not come with bulbs on the downlight so I got 4 new ones on it.
This fan came with 4 incandescent bulbs on the uplight and they were all working when I got the fan, but then 1 bulb burned out so I had to get a new one for it.
I worked really hard on this fan for a couple days, and I brass cleaned this fan really good and it took me a few hours to brass cleaned some stuff on this fan. And I cleaned the whole fan too.
This is the 53rd fan that I’ve restored for Habitat.
