This is one of my rare but fun ventures into non-full odds hunting (I was using the Shiny Charm)!
This event was started by the Japanese shiny hunter Pain au lait ( / @pain_au_lait ) (www.clubshiny-blog2.com/) and the challenge was pretty fun! It ran from July 23rd-26th, and the goal was to find 3 shinies within that span of time:
1. By sky: Soaring encounters on Latios/Latias
2. By sea: Surfing/diving encounters (no fishing/dexnav)
3. By land: Random encounters/hordes (no dexnav)
I managed to finish and find all 3 within the weekend despite starting a day late! I even ended up making it into the blog post about it (www.clubshiny-blog2.com/entry...)
I'm looking forward to more international shiny hunting events in the future, and I hope to try and participate in whatever new events come up!
