These guys were kinda sleeper hitmakers in their time. They were on the radio, everyone knew their songs, but they remained a lesser known Canadian favourite. Cheers to one talented band and all their fans.

5440 (1980) and DayGlo Abortions (1979) are definitely Canadian Bands who have stood the test of time. It's cool 5440 owned the Smilin Buddha Punk Bar sign @ donated to a Vancouver museum. Many great bands played the Smilin'Budaah Cabaret

This is a stone cold classic, production on this song is spot on. Seen 54 40 a couple times and they were awesome.

When i was in grade 5 i watched at school top ten videos i think it was called in Canada, and they were one of the bands i saw on there that was 1981 ! The singer lives in tsawwassen which i lived there for 32 years and didn't even know this ?
