I like mrs heavy chevys idea white with red center panels. If you did a diamond stitch red center panel it would look slicker than goose you know what.

cool truck, just bought a 57 3100, has fiberglass front fenders that i need to replace with metal, don't like the fiberglass. I see now they are hard to find short of new. Mrs Hevy Shevy could do burn outs to no end with a 6.0 LS. They grow up so fast, mine was little when I started watching now he's out of college working in accounting. You look up and their grown.

My comment is that the interior could be gray with red piping - white would show every stain. And don't LS the truck, pull and rebuild/refresh the engine you've already got in there and maybe bump up the power so that speedometer reads more accurately 😁

If you have room to drop the pan, roll the bearings out and check the journals. If the journals are good, roll new bearings in. Red seats sound good.

Such a sweet truck. My thoughts on the seats and console, go with a nice silver gray to match the paint on the outside. Maybe with some white or red accents. And for engine, hmmm… maybe that LS you got with a Truck Norris cam, headers and your favorite sounding Black Widow exhaust.

Definitely go red, no other choice. Forget the LS, stay old school. The Pontiac gives it more character.

I think the truck I bought back in 2019 the seller watched this video and copied your paint scheme of the dash. Mine is red up top, black pin striping and white. The door panels also have those pieces painted red.
