Built Harbor Freight 212cc Predator thumper inside of a Baja Doodlebug frame. Fun. __________________________________ My social media! Instagram - / theillestrator_nyc
That's awesome. Mini bikes are so much fun. Super simple and cheap. Blow the motor? Run to HF and grab another for $120. Awesome when friends/family come over since they're so easy to ride. Ive wound up with 3 if them in my garage lol
How timely. I'm working on putting a Predator 212 in my brother's minibike. Took it out for first test run yesterday. Immediately wheelied it on accident and landed on my back. I feel like a freight train ran into me right now. Got lucky and don't think I broke anything. These things are no joke. I had no idea. I've got a total of 14 seconds riding one, and it's the most terrifying machine I've ever ridden. You're a lot better at it than I am! I'm content just watching you rip instead of trying that again lmao.
Dealt with that firsthand. The mini bike looped away from me. The way those transmissions work are so strange. I felt more comfortable riding my cbr650f for the first time with almost no experience.
Having fun is what it's all about! Did my years in the city, but I'm back in my small town. Dudes rip around here in the warmer months on all sorts of bikes and homemade toys; mini bikes, go carts, gas powered bicycles, you name it - with NO worries about cops. It's a tinkers paradise. Thanks for letting us ride along, and keep giggling!
One of my buddies built a sketchy ass moped with a frame, a 125cc motor thing had two wiring harnesses and a broken exhaust pipe with no muffler, and Im not gonna lie this video channels the chaotic energy of riding that little bundle of broken laws
I can't stop laughing. Imagine being that guy sitting at the red light waiting to go, and you just FLY PAST on this tiny white sled sounding like a wood-chipper. Hahaha, so awesome.
Man I’ve literally been thinking that it’s been a while since I watched a RU-vid video where people weren’t talking like professional, video acting robots lol. This is great. Makes me wonder if you’d ever consider doing a cb125 as a little fun bike to ride around. Being that tiny could be fun with lane splitting. Or, maybe you do just build your own mini bike. Some kind of cafe inspired mini bike.
I have a really random question for you. when you were getting the bmw k100’s new suspension tabs welded to the frame, do you know what size welder was used by they shop you brought it to? It was a Lincoln welder but I couldn’t make out which one. My father in law is a great welder, but I’m not sure his machine is powerful enough for structural welds.
Yeah but it's basically a lawnmower engine. They're designed to run a log splitter or other equipment all day at a constant speed. So not a ton of performance without mods
