I was building your Boba Fett helmet and ended up using Paper Mache. The wood filler I used was too heavy and ruined the structure. so after fixing it with metal plates in the front of the face I was able to salvage it. Just finishing up my Paper Mache as we speak. You are an excellent help through your tutorials, I ended up improxising towards the end however, like using a circular aluminium tray cut up into sectors for the dome. :3
Spray hard resin on when you are done gluing it and then sand it down smoothly. After that spray prime over it. Three times. And then spray paint it with color
Hi, I love your videos. Amazing work! Wolverine has always been my all time favorite X-men. I'm making a cowl for myself. I took me 3 hours to get the cardboard pieces cut. I had a lot difficulty with the gluing at first (1st time using glue-gun). Sadly I had to realize that I have bigger had than you do, so I'm making a lamp now. Next time I'll rescale the template a bit. Cheers!

i remember crafts in school when i was about 10 or something ... doing all kinds of stuff like this with paper and cardboard ... (well not making a Wolverine mask ofcourse ) too bad kids today don't get to do stuff like this on many schools anymore .
what technique gives you the best finish before painting? 1. pva glue+ water and small news paper strips? 2. pva glue+ water and paper towel 3. pva glue+ water and toilet paper? inspired by your work bro.
Eon Robby 1. pva water + newspaper + sanding = smoother surface 2. pva water + paper towel = harder, more organic texture surface, or to apply wall filler/ paper-clay later 3. pva water + toilet paper = only when i don't have any paper towel at home use option 1 or 2, depends on which helmet. magneto i want textured surface, wolverine i want smoother :)

How well do you think it would stay on without the bottom part that goes over the chin. Im using this tutorial for hawkgirl since i cant find any tutorials of her cowl
bro... i just make captain america helmet for now ... but the size is for kid about 9yrs old... i dont know where to find the template than i just hand copy for that.. also i did predator helmet before without template...the problem is idk where to find it... haha... im malaysian too...
Dude, play some other music . Listening to the same tune playing for 30 to 40 mins ( 2 or 3 vids) is not cool. There are plenty of choices out there in the public domain , so you don't have to worry about usage fees . all classical music is free to use + there's plenty more.
