Yay! I've been so excited for you to post this step in the epoxy journey! I've ordered mine and can't wait to get my counters done too! I will definitely send you pictures when I do mine. Thank you for the inspiration! Cheers!!!
I did think the same as your partner to be fair but no reason to not have that design! 😁 Also it looks like the side profile of a galaxy which is cool too.
I’m afraid I agree with your wife, and noticed it as you were creating the pattern. I was hoping you were going to add branches to it. But it could be an ideal talking point when you have guests!!!!
I have Bing watched all 559. You are addictive. Love Rob, Martin, Swerry Dan, and look forward to your Dad's playing. I like the guys at the first ship and Carol was delightful. I'm not entering the raffle cause people 76 years old don't need navigating canal since I live in Texas. Canal knowledge is limited. But I admire you for helping other. Even if it means getting wet looking for a phone. Take care
Looking good James. Do hope you comment from my donation has done well on the drill you said you were getting. Haven't seen you use it. Nor a live thank you. However I do see all that you're trying to fit into a video. But a appreciation would still be nice. Do hope the kids & family are well. Projects are looking good. Do keep cracking along, getting things done. Hope to see you again next week.
That came out quite nice! I would have gone for a more organic curved shape for the big blob, like the integral or the f's on a violin, but it looks cool as it is too.
After all that work and you make it look like someone poured paint on it. You should have gone for the marble look. Hey but if you like it then who cares what I think. 😂
I don't think it's vagina-like at all. 😅 I was amused as you were mixing the liquids at the beginning, as I thought that with the goggles, you looked a bit like a mad scientist. Serious question: what was tge impetus for creating this lovely faux countertop, rather than a piece of marble? Was it cost or weight? Be well and stay extraordinary, dear James. Leigh
Having fitted out many Boats to a High standard and being a City & Guilds qualified Joiner, I have seen some Bodge Jobs in my time but you get !st Place for the vast majority of yours
If it ends up looking as he wants it to look then that's all that matters. James does have an aesthetic sensibility that I can relate to, even though I would sometimes make different choices. The fact that he is NOT a qualified joiner makes it all the more interesting, because he has to work everything out from scratch. He is far more of a handyman than I could ever be though, so whereas you may have only contempt for his unschooled workmanship, I have only admiration.
Ah, but you are forgetting all the fun James gets from his creations, lol. And it's definitely much more fun to watch an unqualified joiner at work, (or play, actually).
