'57 Corvette - Yatming Diecast Car Restoration. In today's video I do a complete restoration on an old Yatming Corvette. This casting was made in Hong Kong in the 80's. It was in pretty rough shape and now it looks pretty darn good! Have a look and let me know what you thought!

Dude,, You really need to ZOOM IN on your paint booth. Not only do we get to see the great paint work, but you have too much dead space around the car 🚘.. The reveal looks great though.

WOW - Stunned at the turnaround on this beauty. It looks better than it did when it would have came out of the package. Great detail work on the chrome parts, and replacing missing pieces. I wish the side chrome (windows) were a little cleaner, but that looks more like a casting issue than anythi8ng. You did a great job!

Cool VERY cool resto buddy. Was truly awful to begin with. I used red vinyl under the clearcoat for the pinstripe between gold/brown panels on my Fall Guy truck and was called an idiot so nice to see others using that method. Feel validated! 🙂👌

Looks better than brand new! It also looks like you can still open the doors as well, wasn't sure that feature was going to be retained, when you put the chrome strip around the white on the doors. Please do more MOPARS ! I've been watching a lot of Graveyard Carz on RU-vid lately... There is just something about a 71 Cuda'.
