Went to Norway a couple of years ago and stayed in Tromsø, but the best bit was standing on a frozen lake just off of the E8 South of Skibotn watching the Northern Lights.
You seem to be really good about interacting with your fans you meet on your trips. Maybe I'll get to meet you in Norway sometime. I really appreciate how thorough you are with showing your routing, rationale and calculations in these videos. It is very helpful to novices to know the best way to travel quickly and efficiently and deal with problems that crop up.
I've learned this winter to not worry about range until it gets to 20% depending on distance. Went through some heavy headwind 45mph over New Year and then I reduced speed about 15mph and got there at projected level. Otherwise, yea Tesla with a long range or even mid range in good supercharger area..... no worries. Enjoy the drive.
Seriously. Other people do road trip videos, but they just can't compare to Bjorn's. It's probably a combination of the music, interesting scenery (although that gets repetitive after a while, so it can't really be that), and the fact that he inserts meaningful commentary at good points. Or maybe it's the fact that he's not super obnoxious.
there are even a couple Model 3's in my home state of Alaska, there's a guy on youtube called boondoc that uploaded a video about it, so cool to see them everywhere, can't wait to get one and drive it home to Anchorage. Hopefully by the time I get one, the superchargers will extend to Alaska.
Woah, at the start I thought we were in your new model 3 ... Then you completely surprised me when you got into X at second stop 😂. The give-away is the white interior of course. But when you said l’ll “hammer” it, I got totally confused.
Omg I really miss snowy winters, South West suuucks... Drive nicely on the northern roads, Bjørn! Edit: I was in Mosjøen and Mo i Rana last week, no snow on the ground in Mosjøen then, the weather has just gone haywire. Always much snow in Mo, it's surrounded by mountains just like Bergen.
I've seen highway patrol australia. I'd NEVER speed at all or break any road rules there because the fines and easy revoking of your license is just crazy. Way way more harsh than the U.S. penalties for sure.
Yeeees Mosjøen my hometown. I knew i saw you. I saw a guy speaking to them self and he looked like you. But dint want to go up incase you where in a hurry
I got your point the first time already... But outside Norway (where energy comes almost entirely from waterpower and is practically dirt cheap) you have to consider several other things.
A fridge in the hotel room? If you have some food I think it would be enough to just put it inside the plastic bag and hang it outside the window. At that temperature, it will be better than putting it inside the fridge. ha ha ha!
