593 - Raising a Pokemon to Lv. 100 off of ONLY Noble Kleavor Rematches! The Level 100 Gauntlet 

There are SO many potential gauntlets I can do in this game!!! You unlock these noble rematches after beating the game. I'm looking forward to doing this again in the future with the other 4 nobles and 2 legendary battles! I'm gonna work on my Legends Arceus movie now, and when that's done, I'm gonna take on training a Pokemon to level 100 off of ONLY smacking trees/rocks

You might be interested, there's unlimited Shinx at the beginning of the game. In the tutorial where you need to capture a shinx, if you defeat it, another one will immideatly respawn. If your whole team dies, you just get revived at full health and don't lose any items. The shinx drops grit dust, cheri berries and spoiled apricorns. I got my starter to level 10 this way, it might be possible to get something to level 100 with this method as well.

And that kids is why team galactic uses so many Pokémon from the Wurmple line in bdsp

Actually the "spinny attack" isn't razor wind as razor wind isn't even in the game, this Kleavor however, (at least in the first battle) has air slash in it's moveset so I am guessing air slash

As soon as I saw the experience reward for collecting resources, my first thought was, "oh god, poor Absol. This will be his hell one day in the future." When that day comes, I'll be sure to pour some Baja Blast on your gravestone.

When i saw that XP can be gained from breaking ore deposits and knocking down berrys and apricots from trees, i feared the worst for Matt. Luckily he had the common sense of going about a gauntlet like this. Cant wait to watch this.

I’m guessing it’s bc I tried to keep my distance when I first fought Kleavor, but I remember in my first fight w him he practically spammed Stone Edge towards the end of the battle lol (also Beaugene’s def my personal fav Wurmple name)

I apparently missed this in my subs and haven't watched yet (waiting to watch with dinner) but I was just thinking about how you often level up Pokemon on walks and was like "Hold on, how can you do that? There's not enough hands for that???“ and then I remembered that I use a walker 😂 Man, Pokemon Go must be way more convenient without two handles to hold onto lmao

yeaaaa nothing like spending the weekend with a new lvl 100 gauntlet

a couple things i’ve noticed about the rematches: the timer continues to tick while paused and even while in the switch menu, i haven’t tried putting my switch into sleep mode and seeing if it continues counting up but my theory is that it uses the system’s internal clock to keep track of the time(?) ideally you can get kleavor to do a charge attack right as he’s at half health so you can hit him more times when stunned before he roars, but i’ve also noticed that his stun time is a lot shorter when he is at half health and hasn’t roared yet. at certain angles kleavor can hit the wall but not register the hit making him run against the wall for a few seconds before getting stunned allowing you to get a ton of hits in on him, i’ve had this happen only a couple times, and i’ve only been able to get it on video once which i can send your way if you’d like. all in all this is a really cool video and i hope this opens the door to learning more of the quirks of this game!!

Btw you don't need to hold down the trigger to throw the balms, so if you're close enough to kleavor, you can just mash the trigger, which actually has potential to save a good 5 seconds over the build up of lost time not doing that
