Russ was the first youtube RV channel I watched. I still like to watch RV-er TV which is always full of information about the area he shows and never any of the drama you see on other channels. I was sad when his dog Scoobie passed away. My granddaughter loves his t-shirt, "Too Cool for School" LOL Stan, you are a great interviewer. I am glad I found your channel.

Good to see ya’s. I’m heading there as soon as a tanker of diesel shows up in Texas at the truck-stop I’m waiting at. Below freezing and blowing snow while they are completely out of gas, diesel and propane.

Science and nature dude here. Texas sits on 1/4 of the continent's natural gas and oil reserves. The fact that they decided to get 1/4 of their power from "wind farms" (which kill wildlife, are dangerous and expensive to maintain, and the materials cannot be recycled or reclaimed when the device becomes inoperational....and considering that one of the reasons they are out of power is because the turbines are frozen.. While CNG can flow so long as it can be bottled or pumped... While oil can be used if the tanks are heated (which happens easily as part of how a oil heater works) But NOOOOOOOOOO "Green energy" ..that isn't really "green" at all, except for the people who get "the green" for pushing it and selling it. Alternative power resources are great as supplements, not primary. Right now nuclear is the best option, until we crack fusion power. Given the people today, I am becoming more and more unsure that they will ever be smart enough to figure that out. Sorry Stan, rant over.

Are quads okay on the streets and trails there in Quartzsite?

I believe your off road vehicle needs to be registered for street use in your home state or in Arizona for such use. Hauling your Quad by truck or trailer to an off road trail for use, probably doesn't need to be registered for street use. You'd need to check with Arizona DMV for use of the Quad.

UTVs need to be registered in AZ to run on recognized streets. Only for streets 45 mph or less

Granite(that I'm familiar with) is composed of - quartz, feldspar & mica...the sparkly shiny stuff ...also known as "fool's gold"! When Mica is found in laminar sheets ...it was used as fireplace "windows" ..in olden days!
