My planche has made almost no progress for a year, with 3 sessions a week. And I know I've gotten stronger in that time, but it hasn't translated to planche progress. Planche is a beast...

Is planche learn with your legs on the wall, isometric or jumping a good exercise? Better than doing it with your feet on the ground?

I haven't tried training the planche with placing my feet on the wall before, but I think it is also a great exercise and a new way to apply to your planche workout. The only way to know if it is effective for you or not is to try the exercise out a few times. If it is good then you can continue doing it, and if you think it is not then you can stick with the regular way of leaning forward 🙌💪

When you've leaned forward as far as you could, try to use your feet to pump your body up a bit so you will be able to get into the full planche hold. There are also 2 other ways I've shared in the video (tuck to full and swing to full planche), so if you find the leaning way is not very comfortable for you, you can try out the 2 other ones. If this is your first time trying out this exercise for the planche, then most of the time you will only be able to hold it for 0.1 to 0.5s. So don't be discouraged and try to train it as much as possible because the more you do it, the more your body will get used to the full planche and you will be able to hold it longer and longer 🙌💪

Once you lean to the furthest point possible, you can try to use your feet to pump your body up a bit and you will be able to get into the full planche position. If you think that this way of getting into the full planche is uncomfortable for you, you can try the other 2 ways I've shared in the video (tuck to full and swing to full planche). Most of the time you will only be able to hold it for 0.1 - 0.5s, so try your best to do it as many times as you can per set, and by training with it consistently, you will be able to build more of your strength to hold it longer and longer 🙌💪
