Hook wasn't exaggerating when he said he was weak lmao. Look how quickly he gave into the darkness.

I just learned that the part where he mocks Rumple, the way he positions his arms, just like rumple does, was not in the script. Colin did it to surprise Robert Carlyle. He's so talented

I love how absolutely batsh!t insane Dark One Killian is. Not even when he was at his most consumed with revenge was he like this. Given his weird staring into nothing-ness and weird movement tics when he was reborn and his attitude here, I genuinely believe being faced with all his pain and hatred when being reborn, coupled with the absolute betrayal from Emma, the one person to always give him hope of being a better man, kinda had him go mad. Killian is cold, patient and calculating at his worst, this is NOT that Killian. I think that out of all the Dark Ones shown in the series, Killian is the one that literally "gave himself to Darkness", as in, his actual consciousness. He's almost acting like Rumplestiltskin (y'know, the one in his head), and we know that Rumple had a very different behavior as Dark One than the man before him. It's like Killian isnt here, it's just the Darkness using Killian's motives to justify doing all those horrible things. This isnt me excusing Killian, mostly because the show never confirms it and Killian DID give himself to the Darkness and was able to pull back when he wanted to, but it genuinely feels as if he relinquished control over himself to the Darkness so long as it got him mr. Gold's dead body, something neither Rumple (who would never relinquish power) or Emma ever did.

Emma: "I thought the best way to control the darkness was to isolate myself, but when I did that, there was no one around to give me hope or tell me that I was being stupid!" Regina: "Fine, you're being stupid!" 😂

I just love how judgemental everybody is considering they've done worse. Emma wanted to save Hook because she loved him. Everything she's done is because she didn't want to lose him. She fought for love just like everyone else. Snowing and even Regina should understand her choice.

colin did incredibly well with this. because he doesn’t just look or act like a dark one it genuinely looks like darkness has affected his sanity. he looks loose-minded and crazed. completely unhinged. well done, colin!

I know I'm suppose to be upset and sad about him dying and Emma trying to save him and all, but his Rumple impression was hilarious and he is just super hot as a dark one. I wish there were a way that Emma and Killian could be dark ones together and be a dark couple but sadly Hook was too much of a villain and has more darkness than Emma.

Hook was sexy as the Dark One. I mean he's sexy all the time but it's a little extra here. Maybe I need to do some reflecting on my taste in men

I loved dark!Killian way more than dark!Swan tbh. Colin was almost like he was in his element playing the villain...
