Good stuff brother.....did you use the harness from the 6.0 or did you use your original harness & ecu then get it tuned? Was the first start up on the original 5.3 tune?
I have an 02 2x4 tahoe and a 2004 lq9 out of an 05 Denali and it's all wheel drive . Can you let me know what I'm going to have to do to put it in the 02 2x4 tahoe I have wiring harness from the Denali. What trans would be best over all easier for the swap
It's a direct swap just leave your harness and throttle body and whichever trans you want to use they're the same physically except maybe the neutral safety switch plug

Just take everything off your 5.3 and out in the 6.0 it's a direct swap easy peasy. Just needs a tune to optimize it at the end but I drove this for awhile on the 5.3 tune

I have a 4.8 in my 2004 Tahoe what all would I have to do to a 6.0 swap? And what year model 6.0 would be a easy swap for my 04 Tahoe. I was told the sensor on the motor would matter on me being able to do the swap
They're pretty much a direct swap just take your 4.8 flexplate off and put it on the 6.0 get it tuned and roll.i did drive mine without a tune for a bit
Actually a viewer sent me some e85 injectors that I was gonna decap but I sold the Tahoe yesterday so they're gonna go in the nitrous s10 or turbo Silverado I just started on
@@WrecklessGarage nice I got a 04 TAHOE and plan on doing this. I just got a rebuilt 60e and added a 40k cooler so I wanted to make sure I can use it still. Thanks for responding
