Good stuff Zack. The nitrous cam and converter will always disappoint you N/A. I would recommend a 4000 plus stall for the cam and hit it with a 200 shot. I had a similar setup in my Camaro. You'll love it 😁😊
Hey man I have a very similar combo as you but in the TBSS on my channel I have a bunch of videos of. I race it like you do both N/A and on nitrous. The nitrous converter always killed my 60ft as well so I have two converters now and just swap back and forth if I’m running n/a or spraying it. It runs low 11’s N/A and 9.70’s on nitrous.

Your truck is badass bro. I have the same one currently in the middle of building it (gen v LT5.3 with a built T56) I hope it sounds half as good as yours
Fun and reliability usually way better than a number. I would look at the ignition timing. N/A and nitrous timing are way different ramps. Just my thoughts my 6l n/a loves a quick ramp up on timing
The black widow mufflers sound good, but...if they are chambered, you losing power there and would go faster with straight thru style mufflers. just my experience. GL
Your mph shows you have more e.t in the truck. My s10 with a 5.3 and th400 has a 5000 stall converter on motor leaving off the foot brake and 6000 on the juice. It runs 11.60s n/a and progressing a 250 shot it runs out of gear in the quarter with 4.10s. It run high 9s but would be quicker with a taller tire or less gear
I run a 5000 stall freak show converter. Leave at 4g it will 1.40 60 foot. stock 5.3 engine with btr stage 2 cam and carb with a glide. 6.80s on motor. Your gear is fine on top. You need to get it out the hole faster
A. You don’t have enough converter with that camshaft, especially with its 115 LSA. Definitely 4000-4200 on the converter. B. If you’re running that camshaft on a stock bottom end (I don’t know if you are), you’re way low on compression. Your DCR will be in the dirt. Putting race gas in it would make things worse.
So now it's fast but not quick? Have you learned the difference yet? I think it can make 10's on motor alone. But as you said. Right now it's about the fun instead of getting into a full time job of ripping it apart all the time and you're absolutely right on that.
@@LsBluu it looks to be doing pretty good..better anyway. Consistency is the important part. So many can't even get that right. So you are headed in the right direction. Now you have to decide if you want to spend a bunch more money and several hours work. Or will you be happy being consistent? All your followers and worshippers will tell you to spend the money and do the work. But ultimately it's up to you. Always remember..the faster and quicker you get. The more you will want. It's never ending until you end it..
