Hi Shibu, the mapping from source file to DE would be one to one same as in the case of Filter activity. Do we have an option ( Like in Querying) to map many to one or one to may source file to Target DE here or any realtime situation do we face this kind of scenario ( I know this scenario doesnt work in this case and not in a realtime also) ...but just to confirm.
Hi Shibhu, I have configured File Transfer and Import file activity once I dropped the file in the FTP Import folder. I can't see any automation running in the activity tab(Activated file drop entry source). What could be the reason for that?
Check the File drop entry source configuration - ensure you are using the FTP site designated for the BU that you have configured the automation in. Next check the folder for which you have configured the file drop - also are you using Filename pattern and if so does it match with the filename you are dropping in FTP? You might want to configure simple option first to check like a folder with no filename pattern. This should kick off the automation as soon as a file is dropped in that folder - that way you can confirm the automation entry source works and then narrow down then to other issues like filename pattern.
