Highly recommend, have one on my 97’ after installing this and a fluid damper truck runs smoother

82-84 6.2s had the belt flap... that’s why in 85 and beyond they went to the rubber pulley. As long as you’re not using a cogged alternator belt on 82-84 (use Gates 5725) the belt flapping is not an issue. This same rule should apply to your solid v-belt pulley for 85 and beyond 6.2s. Thanks for your parts support on the older motors.
