6.7 Cummins nox sensor #1 and #2 Intake nox sensor fault code for a bad sensor is. ( P20EE scr nox catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1) This work has been verfied
Thanks for the video....The upstream sensor module is a PITA...Wheel well liner has to come out...2 8mm bolts that are really tough to get to...and remount with the vibration pads...the electrical connector is different too.
Older models RAM like 2014 had a nox sensor connector seal factory problem. At the time of production, the seal in the nox sensor connector was not installed properly what led to corrosion inside the connector in the 1-st year of use.
Hi I have a question 2015 ram 2500 dpf injector Why the build up of white crud around the spray injector After 108,000 miles replaced with new one and check again with the same crud build up around the sprayer two months later? Poor quality dpf fluid or air leak at the injector?
really appreciate it. Dealing with "unfinished Nox monitor" for smog. Any tips? Tuned to stock and 350 miles on my od since changed. Should i continue to drive it to wake up that monitor? or remove and look at it? 2012 Ram 2500
Thanks for the information. Today I got a p203f and p207f code after check engine came on and a 5 mph in 150 miles dec system see dealer message. I was wondering what was your thoughts on where for me to start? Can you drain the def fluid? Both codes show low reluctant. I just added 2 fluid 2 weeks ago. Which sensor is the 207f code? Any help would be appreciated. 2015 dodge 2500 6.7 manual. 101k miles. Thanks again for all your info on your videos. Subscribed
On my ram I got a code P225F Nox sensor performance signal stuck low bank 1 sensor 2 my question is witch sensor out of them on the pipe would it be thanks
I have 13 ram 2500 with code p2201 NOx sensor circuit range performance bank 1. Would that be the sensor on the turbo elbow correct!?! Other video motor city mechanic is showing on dpf by transfer case is nox sensor. I just want to replace right one since they cost lots $$.
I watched that motorcity mechanic and he had two codes showing, the p2201 and the Uxx code. So that combination may mean something, I have an intermittent P2201 code and Im scoping mine out. I dont know why that NOX sensor is so close to the exhaust manifold at the turbo. That high a temperature cant possibly be a good thing.
Will replacing the Nox sensor fix the See Dealer or 5mph Max message? My truck went to limp mode, i erased the codes and i was able to drive it again for about 200 miles and I got the see Dealer in 50 miles message again. Can I keep erasing the codes and drive the truck as is until I get the time to fix it or maybe Delete it?
To change #1 sensor is about 1300 from the dealer. I'm on my second one I have a 2013 ram I found one at advice auto for 800 some with lifetime warranty.
@@wampuskat1145 yes, it was nox sensor #2 or what they call the downstream. The part was $500 from Dodge. (2 yr warranty). I have a dodge 3500 SRW 4x4. Where I found my #2 sensor was near the back of the exhaust. If you go underneath the truck find the exhaust pipe starting from the rear axle and follow it to the point it connects to the scr ( I think that’s what it’s called). Anyway the scr is the bigger metal capsules (about 12” diameter) there’s a bracket that holds up the exhaust pipe right where it connects to the scr. Right after that connection you’ll see the nox2 sensor and a smaller temp sensor. The nox sensor is the one that has the module on the passenger side of the chassis near the bed fender not the one that attaches to the middle of the truck on the frame. The part number that came off my truck was 68197109AA, that has been replaced with 68227486AA. The design of the module is much better making it easier to install back on the scr. If you need help find me on FB (Judy willis- I have my pic and a HOOKEM horns sign beneath it) and friend me. I have a video where I found it on the truck if you need me to send it to you.
@@wampuskat1145 also, I took the part off myself and installed it myself took less than 5 minutes to take off and install. Also it fixed my problem. The dealer wanted $1500 to replace it. 🤦♀️
@@EvenaGirlCanDoIt Hello Team I hope someone can help. 2014 Dodge Cummings derated to 5mph. Mechanic said it’s the nox sensor the outlet pipe - which one is that number 1 or 2 - ? Which one do I need to buy - can someone please help.
Mad Motor Repair apparently it is not...just had the code P20EE and P1C54...Nox sensor bank one...and they want $750 to replace a $300 part. I’m doing it myself.
Michael Garcia The aftertreatment system is covered by dodge for 100000 mi definitely call around to some dealers that will cover it, them sensors are expensive, we had to call like 4 or 5 different dealers in our area to get it covered, if your truck was made in Canada they will not cover it, that is how they are getting out of covering it
And you would be a dumbass for owning a Ford....what kind of wrecker service did you buy for that piece of crap?.... I'd rather push a Dodge than own a Ford any day
