@@supertitan21 if you delete the after treatment system entirely then no. The inlet nox sensor is associated with the SCR. The SCR is the catalyst that comes after the DPF in the after treatment system. I’m not sure what you mean by “taking the DPF off the truck”. But the only way you could do that and not get shut down by fault codes is by deleting the after treatment system by changing the trucks computer software. Which would delete the SCR and disable this sensor.
I don’t remember. Must have been doing multiple repairs to this truck. It’s not necessary to remove the VGT to replace the nox sensor. As I’m sure you already know.
