Strap wrench goes a long way.

May have been cross threaded for sure and not sealed right, but if it is not cross threaded and you run it down until you hit the positive stop where drain and sensor are lined up, should not have any issues. Try to take it further past the positive stop and you get what you are showing also. It is definitely not an "every time you replace your fuel filter".

My fuel filter was super tight I couldn't even get it to one full turn until it broke.. now I have to wait for the dealer to open -_-

I've done this but I use a snap wrench or a filter wrencg with the rubber strap and I've had no issue's since

I have question, if u have leak on this will you have issue with long crank and issue with hot start?

the yellow screw plug on mine won't seal. and it keeps breaking o-rings when i put it in. this really sucks. I so despise the engineers and planned obsolescence that goes into today's vehicles. Pox on all their houses!

Last week we have a lower fuel pressure and the lower filter was sondurty with debris , the engine stop in our own on street and pull over owr house. Testing with the key in ON position and heard a noice, this noice mean air in the system , we change both filter because the dirty conditions respecfulling the procedure and each 6 times we prime the system the same noice is present... then the engine just not runing but only crank ... why !!!???

Shit design, shame on you Ford, you’re better than that.....

I'm gonna buy a Tundra...Ford is total crap!
