you've inspired me the first eas video i ever saw was your old video (now deleted) were your radios go off for a tornado warning and then you ran to your TV to see it. this is my first eas channel i have 9 weather radios and just wanted to say i love your eas videos and thanks for inspiring me!
We had a weather radio but my stepdad took it and I have no idea where he put and it makes me really angry because I’ve always wanted these kinds of radios
@@SoutheastWarrenEAS this one was pure luck. I just recorded a SVR prior to this, and I’m sitting here on RadarScope and I hear the EAS go off again and I’m thinking it’s another SVR or FFW, but nope, it was a TOE!
Interesting! I remember going through the alerts on my wr300 a long time ago and seeing this one, and wondering what would happen if it was ever used. Now I know! :D
I think I only know one person who still uses a landline. This one friend of mine that I know he’s older and he doesn’t actually have a cell phone and sometimes it’s really hard to reach him because he’s always out of his house and every time I try calling him his thing only rings like three times And always goes to his answering machine

Hello Matt. At first I thought i missed a 911 outage from NJ here on Staten Island but I watched the whole video. Great catch. On a side note have u heard anything from Midland about new model to replace the excellent model HH 54/55 ?. ThankYou for pisting great videos on weather radios.
I have a question, what exactly is the cause of a 911 telephone line to be declared “down”? Do high winds damage the power lines or is it a power issue?
