I've literally never related so hard to a video in my life. Waking up at 6, makeup being the favorite part of the morning, even the personal planner in the purse. I just started at a corporate job and I've always wanted to start a RU-vid channel but didn't think it was possible with an 8-5. You definitely make it possible and it's so inspiring ❤️

Re-watching this video & I have to say, you seem so much more calm now that you aren't working an 8-5. Feels like you actually have time to do the stuff you want/need to. @Brooke Miccio I noticed that you have many things that provide variety / diversity in your days like outfit options, different podcasts for certain days of the week, etc. it would be great to see a video from you about more suggestions for us to make routines that aren’t boring when we have corporate jobs. My daily corporate job plus college gets so routine and has no excitement. I need some variety so badly but I get afraid to forget my time as it’s passing and become late, so quick stuff like this is GREAT!

I am, but I am also working on waking up much earlier to give myself more time. I am a night owl, so it has taken me a good long while to get used to an 8 to 5 work schedule. It's a process!

Just to put it in perspective, even 2 years later, I shower the night before. Lay out my clothes before bed. Get my lunch box ready the night before. & end up waking up some days 20-30 minutes before leaving for work where all I eat is a Cliff bar for breakfast. I don't look a hot mess because of the prep I do. So it can be done productively. It just takes a lot of effort the night before, and if you're a night owl these steps are even more extremely important so that you're not scrambling when you wake up later in the morning.

Brooke, I hope this comment is genuinely helpful because I love your videos and you! Justifying and over-explaining your actions isn't serving you. I know you are super busy but consider on the weekends or after work seeing a therapist. It shouldn't be so stigmatized that theres something "wrong" with people who seek therapy. Working on confidence in who you are and talking through this huge transition you've made in your life would help so much. I really do wish the best for you and I love your videos but it makes me sad to see these recurring patterns in behavior. A lot of times woman and girls are socialized to be this way, but we can all work on being direct and secure in who we are.

I try to do 15 min yoga or stretching but if I'm lazy or running late, just 1 min plank for my abs is a must! I try also to meditate for ~ 5 min but actually I do it only 1-2 times during the week.

I coach a high school rowing team since I used to row in high school. I’m a nurse so I have 4 days off a week (typically) so I have a lot of free time. I would highly recommend coaching if you were ever into a sport in high school or college! It’s honestly so much fun and I get to travel and visit different cities for races! Definitely the best side hustle I’ve had

I love watching these kinds of routine videos. I work for a brokers office as an import coordinator clearing shipments through U.S. Customs. It’s a pretty chill job. The dress code is super relaxed. I wear baseball caps all the time and sometimes leggings because it’s such a small office and no one is really around so I never prepare my clothes the night before because I can just throw on anything lol.

I work a 8-5 job during the week and work as a stylist at Mejuri on the weekends and help with marketing events during the week. Having a second supplementary income has helped me afford the things I want to do as well as has opened so many opportunities for me in both the jewelry industry and in my media distribution career. People think I’m crazy for having two jobs but I love it and would recommend it to anyone!

Good tip if you carry a tote: use a small pouch or a zipper bag inside. It really helps clean it up and makes it easier to find things especially the small ones: eye drops, lip balms, sunglasses cleanse
