4:17. It's correct, that the Meteor engine was used in the Centurion tank. It was however not made by Rover!. The Meteor tank engine were actually Rolls Royce Merlin aircraft engines, that did not meet the specs for use as aero engines as used in Spitfire, Mosquito, Lancaster, and so on. They were downgraded to around 700 HP, and used in tanks. The production of this downgraded Merlin continued after the war, even though there were plenty left over from the war production.
