It's all about location, location, location. We find the more time you can put into scouting and looking for fresh moose sign the better. And if it's during the rut, don't be afraid to get aggressive with the bulls. Thrashing trees and calling can go a long ways with a fired up bull. Good luck!
How do they get a giant moose out of such a secluded area?? Do they string it up and butcher it into quarters right there or close by at a camp? Or do they just call a bunch of people with boats and atvs?? Because he said there isnt another hunter or boat up there in Ontario so how do they do that??
All of the above. If we can get a machine there we will but many times the law doesn’t allow it or the thick cover doesn’t allow it. In those cases we cut it up on the spot and pack it out. We have videos on our channel showing the process
