My brother worked at factory that made pallets, these would have to be brand new never been used pallets.... no drag marks, no forklift scuff marks... nothing lol

Liquid Hot Maga that is what i was thinking. Also no cut outs for a fork lift to even lift the pallet if anything was on it. Guess you could use the opening between the top and bottom boards but never seen pallets without cutout for fork lift before.

Other than the base no pallets were harmed in the making of this project. This is not building projects out of pallets. It is building things using pallets as a starting point and using 99% sourced wood from a supplier.

Pallets can be made of quality wood. Like oak. Super solid and made to last. They have even been run through a planer before they put them together. I have really good luck at my storage yard. So check at self storages. People leave them behind when they move out .They always have a stack of them around. Just ask and They aren't all good quality . But I've been really lucky.

Pallets are not clean virgin wood. Pallets are shipped all across North America by truck and train and shipped across oceans by ship. Due to all the movement, ALL pallets are treated for Bugs and Insects. Pallets should never be used for anything around food.

This is the only reason I clicked on the video. Pallets I see mostly look they were made of wood reclaimed from the side of an old barn.

His pallets do look brand new. It's funny I have a pile of three pallets in my yard that I was planning on taking apart so I could make the cats an outdoor house but I had to put it off because I fell and got hurt. But after watching this video I am motivated to do something. At least take it apart and design something for the cats. I only have two outdoor cats now 🐈 and during the winter they sleep inside the porch so I don't really need to make them any shelter. Also I do not have any electric tools like this guy. He even had two drills, one for making the hole and another for screwing the screw in the board. I only have one drill and would have to screw the screw by hand or switch the bit on drill. I hope I'm using the correct terms, I feel like I said screw too many times. No puns here, seriously. 😒
