Oh my. All those exterior stairs to climb just to get to the front door. And split-level type stairs to have to climb to go inside through the backdoor. Imagine if there was a layer of ice or melting snow on all those exterior stairs. Or having to negotiate those all stairs when moving furniture or if you had a leg in a cast or if you wanted to bring in a grocery haul. Not a place for elderly visitors/residents or anyone with a physical handicap. And the house has just two bedrooms and a shared bathroom on the main floor. If any house ever needed an elevator to the front door, this would be the one. And no covered parking to keep ice and snow off your vehicles. And that backyard needs expensive terracing to make it useful. Imagine trying to safely mow that steeply sloped lawn. On the upside, the dining room and living room seem spacious, the front porch is a good size and you would probably not have to worry about flooding ever given how steeply the property slopes.

Thanks for your comment! If this house ever floods, everyone else will need an ark 😀 The side door on the left is the easiest way to enter. It's 3 stairs into the kitchen and into the main floor of the house. Off-street parking is actually a good thing for this house and area. A lot of homes in Millvale only have on-street parking.

Needs paint and a cover for the light switch in the living room for what I see. Needs a inspection to tell me what's really up.

The buyers did do inspections on this house and they didn't find anything too bad to stop them from buying it. You are right inspections are important.

It's a house with character that needs some tlc. I would probably suggest tearing down the greenhouse outside, and replacing it with an outside workshop. That would replace the shop in the basement. As it is now (or was as of this video), too close to the mechanicals, and the dust can't be good for the HVAC/furnace.
