Great insight, Stephen. I consistently use the law of reciprocity all the time. In fact last week I offered to help an FMCG client with a very small free project. It turned out to be a great paying client this week. To be fair it doesn’t always happen that fast, but it definitely works. There’s a caveat of course, and you need to be really careful who you offer that level of service to, as it doesn’t always work out to your advantage.

Adding this one to my reading list! Who knew my undergrad in Psychology could be so valuable in my unplanned career path in brand strategy. Thanks for the continued value, Stephen.
