Checked the charging sys. replaced the alternator , charging was back but the battery light was on checked the wires and no luck ,checked the voltage regulator and the regulator ,they were not working right ,replaced the alternator and this fixed the issue !
I use Mazda 6 spot NAV model, It was showing charging system malfunctioning . I have changed the battery to a new , alternator is good after checking and changed voltage converter control module stabilizer. Still showing on the dashboard. What else can we do ?
The battery light comes on, odometer and fuel gauge don’t work and the traction control light all come on when I turn the fan on, I have tried multiple different things and it’s not working, just got a new battery and alternator is good.
I have a ford five hundred 2005 limited and tye battery on my car died. After I changed the battery, the horn started to blare and the engine wasn't starting. Apparently, it was an issue with the passive anti theft system and it wasn't allowing it to start. The solution is whenever you change the battery on this car one is supposed to take off the positive terminal off and then another person needs to sit in the car and hold the key to start the engine while pressing a small black switch which is under the left side of steering wheel near driver's left knee, at the same time when you try to start it another person need to connect the positive terminal and the car will start. The dealership asked me to tow in the car and said they will charge 200$ for it. Additionally, before I put in the new battery, when I jump started the car, I saw all kinds of lights like check engine, check transmission, check charging system and now after changing the battery and doing the above steps all lights are gone and car worked fine and I hope it keeps driving fine.
I drive a 2007 ford escape and while I was driving the dash lights, radio, signal lights all turned off. The car was still driving, but all the electrics kept coming on and turning off. Then when i got off work, my car was dead. I got a jump and it started up. On the way home the electrics we’re going out again and started to smell this stink smell, like dead fish or rotten eggs. When I finally got home I checced under the hood and the battery was smoking and sizzling….. what I also noticed is my coolant was EXTREMELY low. I’m praying a new battery and some coolant will fix the issue of what I assume is an overheated battery. But I have no idea. What sucs is either way, I have to replace the battery. Does any one have any idea what I’m dealing with?
Seems like the alternator may not work anymore. I know you probably got it fixed by now. But when the car is running, you can unhook either the positive or negative. If it shuts off your alternator is bad.
Hi good evening I have kia optima hybrid, 2011 The car is starting but when I went to drive the car no driver the the charging system. What should I do? Can you tell me please? Thank you.
I have same problem 2013 optima hybrid. Car starts and drives but get “check charging system” and “hybrid system warning” Did you ever resolve the issue and how did you do it? I’ve spent thousands at dealer and I’m losing hope

Water pump impaired or out . High temperature. Of course belt is first to check , usually water pump make noise because bearing an seals are trashed . Change it but also change thermostat. First make sure belt isn’t slipping and needing replaced. Actually you also need to change it when pump is changed so it’s not wasted money .
My 06 Lincoln zephyr has the check charging system light on. If I go to start it early in the morning when it’s chilly, it cranks normally but won’t start as if the fuel pump isn’t working but it is, after three tries of cranking it starts.
Have a 2013 Ford edge, alternator and belt replaced less than a year ago and connecter changed literally 24 hours ago and check charging light comes on still, spent about a grand on it already and can't afford to keep taking it in, any help on solving this would be greatly appreciated
@@BamaBoySnoop Decided not to take it back in, I honestly felt that after being told it was fixed both times I had it in by the same mechanic, I didn't feel "the third time's the charm" was going to work. Bought a scanner and it says the new alternator is fine and battery passed it's test as well, the only thing I did notice is that when it did come on briefly, it wasn't draining the battery but seemed to be idling 2-300 rpm higher and tester said alternator was max charge, lasted a few seconds then turned off and ran like normal
Same!!! I have a 2016 Egde. Mine came on last week & I've had the battery, alternator, and 2 serpentine belts replaced and what do you know, on the way home the warning light popped back on & off AGAIN!!! I'm sick of it. Took the care to shop on 2 different times last week!!😡😡🤬
My 17 accord LX starts up fine. Replaced alternator and battery after it didn’t turn on for me about a month ago. Since replacing alternator, my Car has a very rough idle specifically when the AC is on. If I drive the car in a rush and turn the ac on too the “check charging system” message pops up for me.
@@ZaraeJaelin it’s a faulty alternator smh that’s what happens when you buy from Advance Auto Parts. Still doing the same thing , haven’t gotten it replaced but I know I can go trade in this defective part for another. Thanks for reminding me lol 😂
