A super that takes a thousand times longer to cast should not do the same damage as a nova or nighthawk, if bungie doesn’t want it to do more damage they need to let it do all it’s damage in about 3 seconds
Roaming supers should do a FUCK ton more damage than burst supers. It shouldn't even be close considering they take away your ability to use any other damage options until they're over and have much much narrower windows to get their damage off due to duration needing to be taken into consideration.
@@shadows_star the point of a roaming super is to be able to spread out all that damage and generate orbs, or else what's the point of burst supers? Any more damage, people would just use " roaming" supers for the entirety of dps and not even have to use weapons.
@@nightismonochrome The point of burst is just that, burst. Roaming supers with a long duration should do more total damage because while you're in them you can't use your weapons
@@shadows_star roaming supers aren’t really ment for damage they are more for add clear so I’m fine with them not beating burst supers in damage as long as they add clear well which they kinda need help they aren’t that great for even what they are ment for but chaos reach is kinda different it’s like bungie gave us warlocks a burst super without the burst part but I’m not fully against your point of roaming supers doing way more damage than burst supers I feel they still wouldn’t get used for damage because again you can’t use weapons while in them
@@VanpyroGaming0 we have those, synthocepd behemoth super, dawn chorus daybreak And nobody uses them because theyre worse for damage output than a burst and your weapons, it would be asking for a change that would change nothing

With 5 hunters, 1 warlock, div is the play. It's pretty much the only way to keep the boss debuffed for the entire damage phase, and since the hunters are guaranteed to be doing more damage than the warlock, the 15% debuff for the other players is worth much more than the warlock just doing damage as normal. Basically, if you count all the bonus damage the hunters are doing with div up as the warlock's damage, the warlock does 0.75*one hunter's worth of damage. Add on the small amount of damage div adds itself, and the warlock is doing about 90% of a hunter's worth of damage, which is hard to match on their own.
@Niklas.Kirchner Tractor cannon can't hit the witness from that sort of range. There might be a spot near him where you can tractor, although that player won't be able to do any damage since they're not on the plate - and I don't know whether tractor can apply the debuff on immune targets without dealing damage. Div is unironically more consistent as a debuff for the witness.
Activity surges and armour surges are two different things.. activity surges do buff supers.. we understand you messed up your edging streak, but this gooning misinformation is a problem.
