Not a bad combo to use.. i like it because it conserves ammo for special and heavy while using with super .. you will be left with a lot of special and some heavy after super is done Demolitionist doesn’t proc as fast as it should but it still isn’t that bad .. was only using one arc surge for rocket and could’ve done more damage if it was a Solar Rocket because of the Activity Surges
Mathematically, what your doing to add damage with witherhoard and hothead can be done and done better by using tractor cannon. You got 1.8m damage out of your rotation before adding in witherhoard/hothead and 2.45m after. That’s about a 26% damage increase. You already have a weaken so tractor would make up 15%. The remaining 11% could be easily made up by jolting with a lstorm grenade and kinetic tremors from supremacy. (Numbers from Carl testing) KT on supremacy procs after 2 crits giving you 3 shockwaves and a total of ~88k damage. This is already better than the ~55k damage witherhoard does in a fraction of the time with only a very small change to the time off the main damage dealer of the rotation (Song of Flame). Storm grenades do more total damage than vortex at base with jolt setting it well ahead when vortex can’t take advantage of the weaken (tractor is already overriding the weapon and applies to both) Realistically this should give you higher damage and DPS while also skyrocketing damage in a team damage setting. This level of ease to applying that number of DOT effects (poison, scorch, KT, jolt, weaken) by one player is unheard of.
All do respect you’re talking about doing damage in a different scenario with a team and stuff i could do a different strategy like what you are talking about but that’s not what i wanted to showcase here .. i really just wanted to showcase damage as a solo player an easy rotation for the average casual player.. i could’ve pumped out more damage if i wanted to but obviously i didn’t use my rotations correctly and was using a rocket that wasn’t correct with the surges not only that but i shot my witherhoard only once in my rotation .. really just wanted to show some base damage Im not saying you are wrong just wanted to do something different here instead of doing all these weapon/class swaps mid fight
@@tthieve I gotcha. What I was getting at too is tractor can be just as effective with some more benefits. Just a change of grenade and a little more skill to hit those crits
Yea i understand what you’re saying .. hitting those crits does take a bit of skill lol..also i don’t have supremacy crafted yet:/ Still appreciate the advice im always willing to try new strats👍
I guess. new rotation for the tractor guy assuming no one else is setting up ignitions or jolts cause the dmg wont overlap and its just a loss in a team setting. Other wise solo dps is still just going to be better running something other than tractor cause the ceiling for this rotation is pretty high.
this week is arc surge so Hothead might be decent but during solar surge Dragons Breath is deffo better. I really dislike the new -5/surge system tho 😐
You can still weaken and unravel or sever whatever the melee is doing lol dragons breath and maybe a fusion or a sniper if the boss has a good crit or is too far once your super wears off ( given that's a pretty long damage phase) I just don't know if the dragons breath x5 spam is more DMG than the explosive light .
@@Beast_m0de1206 From what I've seen, D-Breath has comparable damage numbers when combined with a weaken nade or even jolt, and it seems a lot comfier to use than the demo rocket combo.
@@thekungachunga4578demo has a cooldown and can only proc so often so using Dragons Breath would allow you to use a demo weapon in another slot without slowing the rhythm
@@elitesnake636 same way as in the video. Demolitionist, dragon breath fuel from more ignitions, reload on freeze/suppress fragment if using prismatic. Or sealed ahamkara. That would work. Don't know if apotheosis benefits persist after a swap for that last idea.
