I just upgraded my chino arsenal a couple of weeks after watching this video. Retired the baggy fit for the slim fit, added the olive green , burgundy and rust color to the collection as well. Been rocking them with the wingtips and Chelsea boots I also just picked up. Wifey ♥️ the new look. Even folks at the office have taken notice. Salute Style OG for the 🔥 advice and look books. Hey Mr. O. G. as you were talking about chinos and specifically khaki color chinos, I remembered my school days from 1957-1970 and wearing a cotton blend fabric that came in grey, navy, green, brown, black, and khaki color. In the Washington DC area back them these pants were very popular and universally known as khakis, no matter what color. Khakis were considered cool and school code dress because most everybody could afford them. If memory serves, I believe they costed between $25-$35 a pair. However, there were many who could not afford. For those who could afford shark skin slacks from D. J. Kaufman, Bond Clothier, or Strawbridge Clothiers wearing “khakis” leveled the field in a way that did not put one at odds with someone who could not afford to dress more upscale. So, more affordable “khakis” were more universally appealing and friendly.
I gotta admit that I have always called them khakis, no matter the color. I realized I was wrong when I started watching your videos. Salute big homie!!!
Having recently revamped and updated my entire business casual/smart casual pants wardrobe, this advice is spot on. Like you, Jeff, I’m a big fan of olive chinos, and I’m excited to rock my new pair now that fall has arrived. Also gotta have black! HUGE fan of olive chinos..i never get lucky enough to find a dark enough olive though, usually it’s like a “pea” green, or a forrest green, instead of the olive.

Too cold for chinos and sneakers here in the Midwest now. Mine are retired until summer/fall...now it's thin-wale corduroy/moleskin/wool pants. I can get down with the colorways in this video, just need more substantial pants in the winter time. Boots when it snows rains, sneakers when it's fairly dry.

You’re right again, Jeff! I only own one pair in a British tan color at the moment. I’m semi retired and kind of a rock guy, so I have no need for the other colors. But if you’re on your way up the ladder, you need at least three or four of these colors.
I love chinos. Brooks Brothers are my favorites and I own a lot of colors ( pastels included ). Since I don't wear blue Jean's they are my go to casuals...
What's up OG. I have re-organized my chino's. Kept only three colors: charcoal gray, desert sand, and oilve green. After a couple of years I find I wear these most. Thanks for the vid...I am still thinking about them burgundy chinos!
Of the six, burgundy has always been my go-to due to its versatility as far as co-ordination with other colours goes, However when need be I go radical with my colours and don't be taken aback if you find me donning purple, mustard, teal and or orange chinos Jeff Style OG!
New to chino family, Target has the great Goodfellows brand, but none in my size. Not to worry, my old standby, Macys filled the need. Once again a great video!

OG, you’ve been killing it lately with the pants videos! Excellent color recommendations for sure. However, you did leave out my favorite color of chinos. The ones that I wear most often, especially in the fall, are my brown chinos. They’re about halfway between khaki and chestnut and they look great with a lot of earth toned clothing. But seeing how that’s the case, I’m definitely considering picking up a pair of olive and/or burgundy chinos!
I rock stone (very lite gray) chinos during the warmer months. Dress 'em up. dress 'em down. I've got navy and gray. Looking for an olive on Ebay. But my grab and go pants are khakis. Can't beat them with a stick.
