Mav just keeps on trucking. Been watching him for long time and he still keeps it fresh and interesting. He has always done things with his stamp all over it. Love all he does and like his decent treatment of others. Hope Murry will want to hang out with you in Alaska. Thank you Mav!!
Aww man this took me down memory lane! I used to work in Kotz from 2014-2015. Everything looks exactly the same! Even down to the dog mushers on the ice! The first time I had sheefish was insane and you've got me craving it all over again, so nostalgic. I also had the same reaction to seal oil lol. Thanks for helping me relive these memories Mav ❤ they're some of my most cherished experiences.
Thank you for taking us along on your travels. Not cold enough in Minnesota so you had to go north. Love the cooking with Mav segment, always makes me hungry.
Remarkable life you live. Spent 10 months with the North Slope Borough, Law Enforcement stationed in Point Hope. We flew our prisoners to Kotz. Spent the next 20 years on the oil field. Love it when you're in Alaska.
Hey Mav! I just wanted to drop by and let you know that I'm one of your biggest fans. Your Mexico travel and camping adventures have been such a source of inspiration for me, and I've been eagerly anticipating the next installment. There's just something about the way you explore the culture, cuisine, and landscapes that really captivates me. It's like I get to experience a piece of Mexico through your eyes. So, I'm hoping that in your future travels, you'll continue to share these incredible journeys with us. Your passion for adventure is truly contagious, and I can't wait to see where it takes you next!
Mav is easily my favorite RU-vidr, that said I cannot wait for a proper spring camping video. As much as I like Mav's fishing videos I feel like this is all we got all winter. Which is fine, it's free entertainement after all.
Mav, dude, live it up brother. As long as you bring a GoPro with you!! 😊😊 Seriously, I seem to live these experiences through you and I will most likely never get to do it personally. Thanks for all you do for us!
Mav, a couple videos ago you mentioned your back was hurting and I wanted to tell you something that has helped me and that is Pilates stretches every day. There are a bunch of videos on YT that focus on stretches for your back or whatever ails you! That’s what I recommend. Take care!
I accurately guessed the temperature based on the sound of the snow. The coldrr it gets, the higher pitched the snow crunches. I am getting chills just watching. Too bad it's not July!
It's good to see your doing good. You have a big heart. I'm just your average genius savant I'm poor. Who knows maybe some day I'll win the lottery and event the holy cow idea lol. Be safe have fun bud :) I'm still fighting my PTSD VA claim 14 years.
Mav is different from other RU-vidrs he’s vary humble he never asks for a certain amount of likes or subscribers I’ve been watching him sense 50k subs and I’ve loved his videos sense Im proud of his accomplishments. Go mav!
“A little bit scared, a lotta bit excited” that’s gotta be some of the most Minnesotan sh*t I’ve ever heard 😂 love your vids man, keep up the good work and keep rippn round findin new spots to fish.
Mav I am 52 from Toronto, Canada, going to Alaska in on my Bucket List! Times are tough for me right now but hopefully one day I will have the opportunity to scratch it off the list! Keep on Trucking Bud!
@@lillybee60rupert58 Hi Lilly, nice to meet you and thanks, it is what it is! I am a fighter that never gives up, well oiled machine, lol! not far from Toronto...East, West, North? whereabouts if I may ask?
This was an awesome episode, it's amazing how you can go on a trip there alone and be invited right into the community with things like the potluck and helping with the dogs before the race. It really helps you feel like your not there by yourself being welcomed into everything like that. Awesome job with the fishing as well definitely one of my favorite of your episodes. Keep up the amazing work brother!
I am loving this Alaska adventure so much... it is awesome. I wish I could go there right now and try all the native food (including the seal oil). Thank you for this cool video, Mav!
Hey Maverick, that was a fun video a little bit cold but you had good luck fishing and getting your birds and meeting new friends. That’s awesome. Be safe out there. ♥️🫶👍🙏😎🎣
I had seal oil once when I was in Alaska… my brother in law was stationed on the AFB there in Anchorage and I went to visit one end of summer where the all day begins to turn into all night… we went way up north to one of the Eskimo villages that a buddy of his was from… I got to experience the Northern Lights for the first and only time in my life… I had to laugh at "summer" as it was freezing!!!! We had a couple hours of day light and then it was dark the rest of the day… I couldn’t imagine living like that full time! But that Seal oil, man, Mav is right about it being an Acquired taste… but the sheefish is absolutely DELICIOUS….
Good afternoon Mav!!! Alaska is a great trip for you and fishing too. The sound is bad, wind interference is hard to hear. So the video is super, thank you. Hugs to you!!!🤩🤩🤩💓💓💓💓💓💞🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠🐠
Checkout the Alaska Marine Highway. Leave from Bellingham, WA, camp out on top of the ship while you go through the inside passage, I promise you won't regret it. Make sure to stop by Juneau to checkout our trails and local beach spots.
