I'm glad this is becoming a series! Just wanted to throw in a quick: You don't stop being an ally because you're trans*. Like, just because you might be trans yourself doesn't mean you can't be a bad or ineffective ally to other trans (and other LGB+) people.

Being a good person, yes!! This is something we all should do, stand up for people who are being harassed and bullied.we need good trans allies desperately. And yes. As you say, curiosity is great, but being mindful and respectful is key in this. I've lost count how many times I've been asked the content if my pants! Great video!

regarding the outing thing: I think its important to just ask the trans person can I tell this other person instead of just saying it. that way you know that everyone is comfortable. when I first came out my mom would frequently out me to people without my permission and it really bothered me. the lady that cuts my moms hair found out before even my own grandparents did. and if you're an ally you need to respect it if the person says no you may not out me to said person.

Absolutely. Like Lindsay said, almost everything comes down to communication. If you do feel the need to out someone, consent is priority. Good point for sure! 😁

Don't be so sure, mon ami. At one point I volunteered to hold conferences at a hospital. While being trained as part of a big seminar, I was the only dude there among countless nurses. Except, one other dude who sat down with our group. First guy I've seen in years that wasn't a doctor. We talked for a good 4-5 hours, jet I was non the wiser about this Clark Kent. He spilled the beans towards the end. I knew I was socially inept, but gosh darn, he aced it like a champ. xD Cheers and skål!

Thank you for helping those of us who want to reach and love one another. My gay son was stabbed 3 times in a hate crime and later died by suicide. I want to be here for anyone who needs kindness and love.

I've had allies who, in their righteous anger, created enemies out of friends. It was a mess and I was partially responsible. The good thing about painful events is that they tend to provide valuable lessons of what not to do. 💪😎👍

Another good thing to remember is that everyone isn't always binary. Being a nonbinary trans person, i prefer a gender neutral name, and use they/them pronouns. Even if i "look male", i think of myself as agender. I am "out " to some as trans. I always cringe when people assume my pronouns because i have a masculine appearance. But in order not to be judged or harassed, i don't share with everyone my preferred gender identity.

i am 19 days post-op bottom surgery i am very open to talking about my experiences to people question i have not a problem with it just when they ask me to show them i am not ready at this time to do it and i am not sure i want to show my parts
